A few weeks have passed since the last enjoyable thread. What's going down on yours?

And my favourite from a few weeks ago 'I think I've found a quail in my garden - has anyone lost one?' We're in East London so not many quails knocking around!

Outrage at horses droppings on bridal path (people asked why riders can't pick it up ).

Youths from other areas hanging coming here to vandalise. It happens every summer.

People being kind and offering stuff for free (plants, books etc).

Ours is more interesting than usual atm. A local landlord has put an "All Lives Matter" sign outside his pub

We have outrage as there's a small local music festival over August bank holiday and they're planning to go ahead after Boris' announcement yesterday. They don't have a licence yet so I think it's a non starter.

There haven't been any fireworks in a while- that's what usually causes major agro around here.

The escaped capybara has been seen by one of the 2 rivers running through our town. The owners are thought to be either the local wildlife park in the next village or a private owner in a second village. The Facebook post had video footage in the original post and a second walker has also spotted it.

All of the above, with the notable exception of the capybara.

The other thing I missed is laughing gas canisters everywhere and now news stories about how they damage your spine.
