A holiday abroad and an engraved Tiffany necklace.

An e-bike and a trip to Fiji

Husband got me a lovely pair of diamond and ruby earrings. Very expensive apparently. For pierced ears. That’s right I don’t have pierced ears. We have been together since we were 16. 13 years later they are still in the box..I have kept them for the entertainment value.

Half a new piano.

It's my 40th soon (and DS's 18th too), we were supposed to be having a big party, but that's cancelled obviously (and to be honest I'm relieved as I hate socialising). We haven't got anything planned and I wish I'd seen this thread sooner as the Cheetah experience sounds amazing and I would have LOVED something like that. Instead we are doing some major DIY on the house which will result in a new shared office for DH and me, it's costing us a fair bit, so I'm considering it my birthday present.

OP, what did you get?

StCharlotte · 16/07/2020 08:04

A beautiful chest of drawers from the Cotswold Company (that I chose).

For my 50th I chose a gold necklace.

He excelled himself with gifts when we were first together but clearly used up his lifetime's inspiration in the early years so now I have to choose for myself Grin Bit of a shame as I love surprises.

The proof that I needed to divorce him.

I'm 36 so not yet, but I got him a baby :) (original due date was on his birthday).
