I really need a new series to watch. I've just finished Lots of Little Fires and loved it. Also recently watched the German series Dark.
I know these threads come up again and again, I have searched but can't find a recent one.
Any suggestions are gratefully received 😀

Definitely The Bureau on Prime. 5 seasons. It has kept DH and I fascinated in lockdown.

I've just finished Hollywood on Netflix. I really enjoyed it. Easy fun watching with a bit of artistic licence.

The Bureau on Prime. Absolutely gripping.

DotDotDotty · 04/07/2020 17:02

I loved Umbrella Academy... Might be worth a look?

OldLace · 04/07/2020 17:02

I've been watching 'Homecoming' on Prime (series 1 & 2 so far)
Directed by Julia Roberts.
Really good (and I loved Little Fires Everywhere too)

Money Heist is also good (S1&2 better than 3&4imo)

Altered carbon on Netflix

Violetparis · 04/07/2020 17:04

I really enjoyed White Lines and The Woods on Netflix.

Meercat2 · 04/07/2020 17:05

Great, thank you! I haven't watched any of the suggestions so far. I have been tempted to continue with Killing Eve, but I got a bit bored with in in the subsequent series

Outlander on Prime

BearSoFair · 04/07/2020 17:14

Hannibal is on Netflix at the moment and that's always worth a watch!
The Stranger
Altered Carbon
The Last Kingdom
Snowpiercer is on my list but I haven't started it yet.

AgentCooper · 04/07/2020 17:15

I loved Little Fires too and also gave up on Killing Eve due to the follow up seasons not being as good.

Right now I am loving My Brilliant Friend - it’s stunning. It’s on Sky and Now TV (sorry, not helpful). Mr Mercedes on Prime is excellent- quite dark but gripping. It’s a Stephen King adaptation.

Meercat2 · 04/07/2020 17:18

I'm really grateful for all the suggestions. That's me sorted for a little while

Schitts Creek is outstanding. 6 series, finished the last one last night and I am gutted.

Normal People is next on my list, then I May Destroy You and Better Things on iPlayer.

On Netflix I just re-watched Umbrella Academy before the second series on 31 July. I loved Travelers and will watch Dark again so I can watch series 2 and 3.

XFPW · 04/07/2020 17:19

If you haven’t seen Schitt’s Creek yet then definitely binge that one. It’s a slow burner - series 1 is good, but not outstanding, series 2 is better, series 3-6 are incredible and you will weep when it ends and want to start all over againz

Boredbumhead · 04/07/2020 17:20

Do you like reality TV? Below deck on Netflix is a gem!

PeppaPigOinkOinkOink · 04/07/2020 17:21

I'm on season 3 of Queen of the South and have been hooked!

Midw33kSlump · 04/07/2020 17:29

Schitt’s Creek, Modern Love and Olive Kitterage.

Assuming you’ve watched Big Little Lies

Boxachocs · 04/07/2020 17:43

This is Us is literally the best thing I’ve ever watched.
