I really need a new series to watch. I've just finished Lots of Little Fires and loved it. Also recently watched the German series Dark.
I know these threads come up again and again, I have searched but can't find a recent one.
Any suggestions are gratefully received 😀

We are loving Snowpiercer.

Not free, but Borgen is £2.99 for each of three seasons on Amazon. Also really enjoyed Greyzone on All4.

Dead to Me and Outer Banks on Netflix

Jack Ryan on Prime

Yes, I've watched Big Little Lies and loved it. Also watched Borgen. Started watching This is Us but for some reason stopped. Might give it a second try, probably not in the right frame of mind at the time?
I'm busy looking up all the suggestions.

Unbelievable on Netflix. It’s based on a true story. I ended up binge watching it.

Startoftheyear2020 · 04/07/2020 18:23

The Good Fight is amazing!

paisley256 · 04/07/2020 18:23

Unorthodox and Wild Wild Country are both binge worthy for sure!

Snowcappedmountains · 04/07/2020 18:28

What about Documentaries? There's a reboot of unsolved mysteries which has just come out on Netflix.

Life in pieces on prime was recommended on here and I’m really enjoying it.

Midw33kSlump · 04/07/2020 18:42

Don’t be put off by the premise or first few episodes of Schitt’s Creek. You get sucked in hard and fall in love with all the characters. There is a documentary about it too.

Midw33kSlump · 04/07/2020 18:51

Think I’m going to watch Unbelievable, thanks for the recommendation. Is Thus Is Us better than it’s trailer and the birthday suit clip?

BinkyBoinky · 04/07/2020 19:00

Dead to me!

M0iraR0se · 04/07/2020 19:03

Oh yes I enjoyed Dead to Me.

The Letdown is really good.

MorrisZapp · 04/07/2020 19:11

Ludicrous storylines and cheesy reaction shots ahoy but my lockdown obsession has been Longmire on amazon prime.

Grizzly Wyoming sheriff solves crimes while his hilariously macho deputies display so much chest it's a wonder they bother with shirts at all. One of them appears to have a disability at the start but you realise it's actually a cowboy walk and he does it deliberately.

Throw in lots of argy bargy with the local Cheyenne on the rez, and the inevitable grieving for dead wife storyline and it's six seasons of Agatha Christie on the prairie with hot people. I can't look away.

ParkEndStreet · 04/07/2020 19:11

The Stranger

Safe

Dead to Me

You S2 (better than series 1!)

Love is Blind

The Afterlife

MorrisZapp · 04/07/2020 19:13

And if you haven't seen Godless it is sublime.

Evelefteden · 04/07/2020 19:13

minisoksmakehardwork · 04/07/2020 21:26

Have you watched series 3 of Dark as that was very recently aired on Netflix?

Stranger Things.
Happy - if You like seriously twisted and gratuitous violence. But it was bizarrely compelling to watch.

LuckyMarmiteLover · 04/07/2020 21:31

Unorthodox!
