I hate pizza. Just thinking about it makes me feel ill, and when I tell people this in real life they get so confused! Anyone else hate anything everyone seems to like?

Eggs
If I was force fed a egg of any kind I wouldn't be able to eat anything else for a week !

Queenoftheashes · 04/07/2020 23:15

Bananas
Raisins/currants/sultanas
Prawns

oliviaskies · 04/07/2020 23:20

@RedDogs

Mushrooms 🤢 Alcohol of pretty much any kind Milk Tea/coffee/any hot drink Custard/rice pudding Salted caramel (not overly keen on the regular version either, too sickly) Cold egg Any kind of soft/runny/undercooked egg

I actually eat quite a lot of eggs but I'm really fussy about how they're cooked.

Ooh, I also hate hot drinks! DD is into iced coffee, though, which I quite like, as long as I'm not the one going to the effort of making it :)

Strong tasting fish
Rice pudding
Nandos
KFC
Subway
Chocolate cake
Chocolate ice cream (always feels gritty to me)
Some prawns - the small ones that taste faintly of hospital disinfectant
Meat in a tin except corned beef
Non-fried prawns in chinese food
Chinese takeaway food with a sauce, or soup, that has a glutinous texture

morriseysquif · 04/07/2020 23:37

@Fleetheart

Buffalo wings. Orrible. And why called buffalo wings. Buffalos don’t have wings!
They were created in a place called Buffalo, New York State.

They can be delish or vile. A bit like a KFC is either wondrous or a waste of calories guilt ridden filth.

Iverunoutofnames · 04/07/2020 23:38

Mayonnaise. Like eating pus.

Raella50 · 04/07/2020 23:39

Cheesecake, tarts, pastries, fudge, brownies - yuck!!!

Chochito · 04/07/2020 23:43

Cheesecake
Coca cola and soft drinks
Mashed potato
Bacon and sausages (I like cold sliced sausage like saucisson, chorizo)
Halloumi
Yoghurt
Crumpets
English muffins

Feedingthebirds1 · 04/07/2020 23:53

Avocado - the smell, taste, texture
Smoked salmon - ditto
The skin on a chicken - also ditto
Prawns in a hot dish, eg Chinese. I like them cold in a salad though.

Fudge - when I was at secondary school they did one of those fundraising things where they give you some money, you use it to buy and make stuff, and sell it for a profit to give back to charity. Sooo many of the girls made fudge, one day I ate too much of it and was sick. Even writing this is making me queasy.

Also any soft drinks with artificial sweeteners, I can spot a sweetener at 50 paces. And I'm in the camp where fresh coriander tastes like soap.

Allmyeye · 04/07/2020 23:55

Fish
Most sauces.
Chocolate Brownie although I love anything else chocolate.
Macaroni Cheese.
Oreos

Rafflesway · 05/07/2020 00:00

To be fair, the list of what i won't eat is far longer than the list of foods I will.😳

However, the top 3 ingredients which are a definite " Not a chance in hell " for me are:

Garlic - just how anyone likes the vile smelling/equally vile tasting stuff leaves me aghast!

Vinegar - of any variety! Just no!!

Mayo/salad cream - give me strength!😲😲😲

Try going out for a meal in 2020 and find something on the menu which doesn't contain any of the above.😂😂😂

Pieceofpurplesky · 05/07/2020 00:00

Beetroot. And it's in or on everything

Allmyeye · 05/07/2020 00:03

Oh and fruit teas and lapsang souchang.

Staywithmemyblood · 05/07/2020 00:22

Fish and seafood. I can eat tinned tuna, not fresh tuna I tried it and didn’t like it but tinned is ok. Any other kinds of fish/seafood I don’t eat. I don’t like the taste or the texture. I once sat through 6 courses at a french wedding where 4 of those courses were fish! I ate none of it and the women next to me thought I was a child and kept encouraging me to “just try it, you, might like it” 🤮

I’m also not keen on mushrooms cooked, if they are in something i can usually eat them but I’m not keen. They are ok raw but cooked they can be too strong.

Gingaaarghpussy · 05/07/2020 00:55

Honey
Goats cheese
Olives
Anything pickled in vinegar
Any pickles
Whelks etc
Avocado, unless it's in my nannas posh prawn cocktail wont happen cuz shes dead
Cauliflower
Nutella
Egg fried rice.

Cornetto69 · 05/07/2020 01:47

Tuna

Mackerel

Sardines (actually any oily fish- i like white fish though)

Tofu

Marmite

Spam

Caviar

Uncooked cheese. I cannot stomach cheese raw. Melted on pizza, toast or on chicken? mmmm....yum. But raw? I actually cannot hold it down. Raw cheese tastes like sour milk.

SionnachRua · 05/07/2020 01:55

Sushi
Fizzy drinks
Creme brulee
Chinese food (not that I've tried it all of course - but have liked nothing I've tried so far!)
Trifle
Jelly
Coriander
Olives
Vodka
Nutella
Chocolate milk
Ice pops
Shrimp and prawns
Weetos, Sugar Puffs, Frosties (most sweet cereal)

lampygirl · 05/07/2020 03:39

@Feedingthebirds1 I get the being sick thing. I didn’t eat lasagne for 13 years, but loved bolognaise or carbonara which are basically the same ingredients (if you use a jar of sauce for carbonara rather than egg/Parmesan)

lampygirl · 05/07/2020 03:40

I now have lasagne probably once a fortnight. No idea why I suddenly decided it was actually all in my head.

Cornetto69 · 05/07/2020 03:44

Those of you who don't like fresh coriander (I am the same but I like it ground) is it because you find it tastes like soap? I do. I did not realise until recently that this is apparently a genetic trait.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 05/07/2020 04:01

Chorizo-too fatty and smoked paprika.
Marzipan obviously - the devils sputum.

wilde85 · 05/07/2020 04:01
