Popular foods you don't like?

I hate pizza. Just thinking about it makes me feel ill, and when I tell people this in real life they get so confused! Anyone else hate anything everyone seems to like?

Cous cous
Quinoa
Gherkins/Pickles
Beetroot 🤮 tastes like soil
Ribs
Cockles, oysters, winkles, scampi, mussels etc but like King prawns
Tomato's & tomato soup but will eat pizza & spag bol
Ice lollies/sorbet

Chicken breast. Especially the chunks/mini fillets/diced variety. Absolutely vile.

My husband actually heaves at the smell and taste of chocolate. I used to find it hard to understand how anyone could dislike chocolate but now I see it as a blessing as I never have to share :)

Any cheese, baked beans, tomato ketchup although I like tomatoes.

Any fish unless it is breadcrumbs or batter, Branston pickle yeuhh.

@rooarsome the only time DP gets mash is if we go to a carvery and he bloody loves mash! It’s not allowed in the house.

I forgot mention Baked beans

Processed cheese, the sort that is in fast-food burgers and packs of slices or squeezy tubes. Disgusting, artificial muck. I love real cheese, though.

Pies and especially pie and mash. It's like the worst school dinner ever

Rocket and fresh coriander. One thing I've not missed during lockddown is trying to find a vegetarian sandwich without bloody rocket in it.

Tuna. Actually, specifically tinned tuna. Tuna sashimi is delicious, but that horrible stuff in a tin is truly disgusting. And it stinks.

Tomato soup. Can't stand it. Makes me heave. But I love fresh tomatoes, tinned tomatoes, pomodoro sauces, passata, V8 and tomato juice so I'm not sure why tomato soup makes my stomach churn.

All fish, baked beans and proper fish shop chips 🤢. I wish the smell of chocolate made me heave though!! I’m jealous of that.

Mushrooms are disgusting. Dislike trifle especially the horrible bitty sponge on the bottom. I love fresh cherries but can't bear anything cherry/black cherry flavoured like yogurts.

But the one that seems to bother other people is Sausages! They all taste awful - pink slime made of arseholes and eyelids

I hate Chinese food from restaurants and takeaways. Everything tastes the same and it leaves an absolutely disgusting taste in my mouth.
I quite like home cooked Chinese though

The smell of Subway makes me heave too. Could never eat anything from there.

Over-ripe bananas. And the stringy bit you get on bananas 🤮

Dessicated coconut, but that's more the texture than flavour.

Frankfurter sausages. And when people talk about how amazing Ikea's hotdogs are, I just want to heave.

Sausages in a tin with baked beans or pasta shapes.

Pasta in a tin with tomato sauce.

Avocado
Hummus
Caramel/toffee
Meringue - always looks so pretty then feels horrible in your mouth and tastes of nothing
Warm or hot fruit - I don't mind cold cooked fruit, a cool apple pie etc but can't bear it hot!

I find takeaway Chinese so ridiculously salty, makes it impossible to eat.

Eggs and avocados - makes ordering breakfast or brunch out a challenge!

All fruit
All seafood (the smell makes me )

Sausages are gross!! Pink congealed slime made of arsesholes and eyelids which are not improved by any form of cooking

Takeaways. All of them. So disappointed every time I have one. Especially Dominoes 🤮
