Is there any point upgrading just for an extra 3 inches each?

We currently have a double bed, but it's just not big enough, especially during summer when it's too hot to be close. I'd love a super king but I just don't think we'll fit one in without getting rid of our bedside tables (which is NOT an option! They house too much useful junk 🤣).

So obviously the next option is a king size. But is it worth it just for 3 extra inches?

Do it! My ex and I are both small people but we upgraded to JK when I was pregnant. It was bliss! We’ve separated now and I’ve kept the bed. I could never go back to a double, even as a single woman 😂

One of the best things I have ever purchased is a super king size bed! We started off in a double and over the years went to a king now finally a super king, when the dc decide to hop into our bed we have enough space it lovely. Most Sunday mornings we watch a movie in our bed.

It’s massive! And very very comfortable, that may be the stupidly expensive mattress we have tho.

When we sleep in a king or double we certainly notice the lack of space.

If you have the space do it, when we were looking at a new house one the first things we did was make sure our bed would fit

Whatever the size of your bed I recommend always getting a bigger size duvet. Huge difference!

Ditch the bedside tables. Bet you don't need most of what's in there. We put lights on remote control switches.

It would be worth getting skinny side tables so yiu can get a SK. We've gone from D to K and the next one with be a SK.
We were on holiday in an Emperor bed. My god that was amazing. Litterally like sleeping on your own. But SK is the biggest we managed.
