There probably won't be any scenes tomorrow, as ds is coming home from university tonight. It's his birthday tomorrow, so I will be spending a bit of time with him. Might have time to do something on Sunday though.

There is probably not enough exciting stuff happening in Playmoland for pictures every day in any case!

Thank you! I do have a few more ideas for scenes though, so will post a few between now and Christmas.

Thank you! Ds got back safely but quite late last night. We unloaded his car and then he had a beer and a mince pie. We are actually going to a concert this afternoon (a small singing group in a covid-secure local theatre) and out for dinner this evening (we're tier 2 so can have a "substantial" meal). So it should be a good day.

Maybe he can help me with a scene tomorrow...

My DS also came home yesterday- it’s so good to have him back! Do Playmo students have a ‘get home for Christmas window’ too?

I'm not sure! Playmo don't do a "university" set although they do have school sets. But yes, great to have ds back, he's the first other person to set foot in my house since before 5th November!

And yet, there must be higher education in Playmoland, because there are doctors and teachers and research scientists.

Yes, there must be... Maybe we should ask Playmobil to produce some university sets!

I will be setting up a scene in a bit, but waiting for ds to get up and have breakfast so I can then use the dining table!

The Playmobil people are posting their Christmas cards and parcels early this year. Lots of people are posting parcels, as many won't be able to see all their relatives in person this year, so there is a queue outside the Post Office. Silke is posting cards, while Renate and Ludwig have parcels to post.

Ben is behind the Post Office counter today. Renate is weighing her parcel.

Beverley has come to empty the post box, while Ludwig and Gisela wait outside the Post Office with their parcels.

Great to see the Playmo people are still socially distancing in queues. It’s gone a bit to pot where I am.

Silke has a card for overseas, so it is being weighed on the letter scales, while Ludwig waits with his parcel.

Ludwig's parcel has been weighed, and he is paying with contactless, while Renate waits in the queue. Only two customers are allowed in the Post Office at once.

While Johann and Matthias wait outside, Alison is out on her bike delivering the mail.

Haha, no prizes! Actually apart from ds I've had very few people inside the house since mid March, as much of my summer socialising was done outdoors, as the weather was so good.

I did struggle a bit once ds went back to uni in September, as I'm on my own otherwise, and especially during the 2nd lockdown, but fortunately some of my friends (including @petalpower) have been happy to brave the elements and meet me outdoors! That has kept me sane when I was otherwise returning to an empty house every time I went out. I even resorted to having conversations with the Playmo people!

Trendsetters, definitely. DH put out tree up yesterday and this week I am hoping to post all my cards and parcels.

I can't remember the last time I had a friend in my house.

Ah, thank you! Not clever though, I just enjoy putting scenes together. It's something to do when so many normal activities have been disrupted by Covid. And probably fairly harmless!
