Dog keeps following me!

Okay, it's my own dog, but even so...

I could currently do with a cup of tea, but the dog has only just stopped trying to press herself into my body and started on her chew. If I get up and go to the kitchen, she will follow me and then I will be back to square one....but at least I will have a cup of tea in my hand.

Can anyone sympathise?

My eldest has always liked to have free access to me (makes me sound like his water bowl haha!), but since I've been pregnant it's gone up another gear. Everywhere I turn, he's there...

My Velcro dog even sleeps with her head on my pillow if she can get away with it and loves snoozing with one paw on me.

This thread has me reminiscing about a previous much-loved Velcro dog of mine, who still seemed to be with me after she had died or perhaps it was just my imagination

I have a velcro dog and a 5 year old limpet DD. Both have got worse during lockdown including trying to sit on my lap in the toilet. DDog is not a lap size dog

I have a shadow, not a dog! Wherever I am, she is. Waits outside the bathroom. Wouldn't be without her ❤️

My dog is 70 fucking kilos and still wants to sit on my lap constantly.

He has to be touching me, even in near 30° heat 😩

I'm so sorry to disappoint you but that's just his MN name. He is actually called Dill (which I accept is shorter than SoupDogg and thus makes no sense)

DBigDog (RIP) was Dylan, always known as Dill. Or sometimes Dillie. Occasionally Big Bastarding Dog.

Velcro hound is Teal. Mostly known as Get OFF Me!

Does anyone else's do that leg poking thing? I tend to sit on the floor when I'm painting and she likes to sit behind me on the chair. After a while I'll notice I'm not at all comfortable and it turns she's poking me really firmly in the back with her foot. If I move, she just readjusts her position and does it again. Drives me mad!

Yes, normally around 3am. Beerydog3, normally velcroed to DH, sticks all 4 paws into my back. Beerydog2 used to heavy breathe in my ear. I miss it.

And sleep with her head drool on my pillow. Just to prove me wrong, 3 is now velcroed into my lap while I’m cross legged on the bed. And he’s on my bladder, little furry git love

Our pup is 14 weeks old, at least he has grown so I am not standing on him all the time!
He does the walking in front of me to check I am there. I am going to wee on his head one day as he is so slow!

I had to go do some bits and pieces in places I couldn't bring DDog yesterday. Talk about separation anxiety from us both 😂😂😂. I spent the whole time looking round for him, and he attached his lovely face to my leg when I got back.

How are he or I going to cope when I return to 12 hour days???
He's currently sitting at my feet and watching me work.
