DS has eaten wild berries he found on a tree - help

I don’t have a photo of what he has eaten but it was shaped like a cherry but smaller. It had a pip in the middle and was dark red. It came off a tree, no idea what the tree looks like.

Does anyone know what berry this could be and is it safe? Dh is being very blasé about it but I am worried.

"you can't change DH".

Well, you can actually.

Glad it's been identified. I would be quite surprised if there were poisonous berries on a footpath tbh - too risky for the council. Having said that, my primary school had a laburnum tree in the playground but the 70s weren't known for their health and safety!
