Oasis 26 years ago!!!!

Bless the bbc are really making an effort and Jo Wiley looks as fab as ever and Mark Radcliffe looks bloody fantastic.

It is the best festival ever looking at this I can’t beleive how massive it’s got in the last few years. I can’t wait to get back!

Omg Beyoncé tho 🤭

Zoikes · 26/06/2020 23:05

She puts on a hell of a show doesn't she? Grin

KaptenKrusty · 26/06/2020 23:06

That’s exactly what my husband just said @EachandEveryone 😂

nogreenfinger · 26/06/2020 23:08

I've never been to Glasto but would love to see the Rolling Stones. I've seen B, she's amazing, a true performer. One thing that struck me watching all the footage, the crowd is very white.

Polkadotties · 26/06/2020 23:08

I bloody love Beyoncé. Seen her a few times now. Her voice is amazing

AnyFucker · 26/06/2020 23:13

Stormzy looked mighty fine too. Talented guy also.

EachandEveryone · 26/06/2020 23:16

Glasto is open to all it’s just if you are up for fighting for the tickets it’s a nightmare.

Loved it, we are now in the Arctic Monkeys waiting for Jay-z

rednsparkley · 26/06/2020 23:17

We've had it on the i-player. Started with Metallica (my faves) then REM, Robert Plant and Pulp. Got plans for Nick Cave and PJ Harvey. Deffo some Beyonce, Coldplay, Jay-Z and Adele. Got the cider on tap and the surround sound cranked up!!

I've never been, I can't think of anything worse but I love watching the BBC coverage.

TheIncredibleBookEatingManchot · 27/06/2020 00:04

Beyonce was fantastic, it must have been amazing to see that live.

But what was that bit with Tricky? Was he supposed to be singing? And did no one tell him the dress code? He looked so out of place in his tracky bottoms. And then everyone on stage seemed to ignore him and he just went. He seemed to be a very odd choice to be sharing a stage with Beyonce- I love them both, but they're so different .

Beyonce was brilliant, though. Amazing stage presence, beautiful voice, fantastic dancing.

AngeloMysterioso · 27/06/2020 00:09

@KaptenKrusty I was 24 weeks pregnant when I went last year... not easy but still had an amazing time!

EachandEveryone · 27/06/2020 11:22

Yes we were expecting Chris Martin to come on at some point 😄

@homemadecommunistrussia

They were amazeballs I may have to get tickets next week for something to look forward to. ShockGrin
Ive pre-ordered the album because apparently it gives you access to pre-sale, i hope so! Did you see them last year? Gig of the year for me!
MissMarplesHandbag · 27/06/2020 18:21

Loving all the coverage this weekend - good work BBC. The special iplayer channel is fab. Nearly makes up for the actual festival and associated coverage not being on.

EachandEveryone · 27/06/2020 22:13

Im watching Adele now. Ive had plenty of cider.

We were remembering feeling gutted that we didn't get to see Springsteen at Glastonbury in 2009 (we married in 2008 and went to Glastonbury as part of our honeymoon!) but we saw him at Hampden that year anyway :)

KaronAVyrus · 27/06/2020 22:43

Watching again. Life a bit of Adele.

KaronAVyrus · 27/06/2020 22:44

Love not life. (Stupid phone🤦‍♀️)

LaszlosHat · 27/06/2020 22:46

Currently watching last years Killers set

MorrisZapp · 27/06/2020 22:49

Oh god Adele is excruciating. It's Alison Steadman in Abigails Party isn't it. Great songs but I muted it in between. Toe curling.

allfalldown47 · 27/06/2020 22:50

Loved the Pulp & Primals set, bit disappointed there's so little footage pre 2005. Maybe it wasn't filmed extensively back then but definitely remember the bbc being there and all the cameras!

HornedBeefCash · 27/06/2020 22:53

I'm currently watching The Cure on red button, phenomenal!
Saw bit of The Boss earlier too, bloody fab
As were Pulp
Adele's got a great voice but just not my thing
