Encased within a Peldon bubble to give gravity and breathable air if it meant no moons or real stars, and weird weather??

OP posts:
SleepingStandingUp · 26/06/2020 18:21

An artificial bubble

OP posts:
SleepingStandingUp · 26/06/2020 18:22

No natural light

No.

Nackajory · 26/06/2020 18:24

No

Smallsteps88 · 26/06/2020 18:26

I suppose it depends what the alternative is. There’d need to be a benefit to moving to a planet like that.

VodselForDinner · 26/06/2020 18:27

No.

Why would you when you could stay on Earth? What’s the benefit?

SleepingStandingUp · 26/06/2020 18:58

Because the earth would be under water with 3 decades and this is quicker than terrafirming the planet

Will there be mature cheddar cheese, maltesers and never ending childcare? If so, book me a ticket!

SleepingStandingUp · 26/06/2020 19:06

Def cheese and maltesers. Not sure about childcare. Maybe like a nationwide creche system up to 12yoa

elephantoverthehill · 26/06/2020 19:06

I don't think it would have much atmosphere.

Drip feed.
SleepingStandingUp · 27/06/2020 14:17

Sorry, it totally was.

DustyMaiden · 27/06/2020 14:20

I’d like to live in a water world with lots of flumes and boats.

Silvercatowner · 27/06/2020 14:25

What do you mean by 'weird weather'? If you mean daily thunderstorms, hell yes.

AlCalavicci · 27/06/2020 14:33

If it's in a protective bubble how do we get in without losing oxygen?
Is there a aeroplane size air lock our some sort of tube slide we whizz down from earth to there.

What happens if the bubble gets a puncture ?

spies Dcat shredding sofa arm again

SleepingStandingUp · 27/06/2020 14:34

Well it wouldn't be created as in the atmosphere because you're encased in a metal ball. The creator of the planet seems unsure on the subject of thunder storms

dudsville · 27/06/2020 14:37

Would I have to send up offerings of random objects and behavioural acts to this creator of planets???

Lemonmaid · 27/06/2020 14:37
Biscuit
dudsville · 27/06/2020 14:38

Also, could possibly one benefit be that it was nearer to other things I'd like to see like Mars, and would I get to go off planet and do space walks?

JaneJeffer · 27/06/2020 14:39

@elephantoverthehill Grin

raspran · 27/06/2020 14:43

No. I'll be dead in 30 years so it won't make any difference to me.

SleepingStandingUp · 27/06/2020 23:23

@Lemonmaid

Biscuit
Was that really necessary?
