Some of the more cult like nationalists won’t be happy until there are tanks on the borders.

They revel in the supposed moral superiority of the Scots but portobello beach/ meadows etc has been completely rammed with rubbish and piss everywhere. It wasn’t just Bournmouth beach that looked bad.

A friends son is a journo. photographer, he has set up some great fake shots to sell pics. one which went worldwide about a royal relation and made him lots of money you will all have seen it. I suspect some of the "Wales is closed" shots were set up. His insight has made me very cynical of any pics.

I was really annoyed to see the daily sadly death number higher than last week today.

Got my eldests info for starting high school and every single page of the dozen pages has big red capital letters all over it saying how they may not open and it's all up to the government to give the ok. Anyway, on a brighter note I have just done 1 and a half hours of karate with my club, outdoors and it was wonderful.

Looking at the fines issued is interesting. I think some people will fight them the law is weak in this area because many fines were issued for flouting guidelines which confused the matter considerably. Solicitors will make up some much needed lucre when this happens.

DH was off today so we had a day out. Ended up on a deserted South Coast beach (not Bournemouth- other beaches are available). Serves us right really, with a stiff sea breeze it was a good 10° cooler than at home. We weren't expecting that and it was too chilly so we had a quick lunch then moved on. Back home later it was still high twenties.

I've had a lovely evening out. Drove off to a park which was pleasantly busy. The DCs had a good play in the fallen tree. Virtuous unlike the perils of illegal playgrounds

We then headed off to the chippie and had a chipnic in a nearby rec as the sun went down.

It is nice seeing people out in sensible groups. I'm guessing many will stay out like that even when the pubs open because they'll have to abide by the rules.

Had a good day took the kids to shopping park, left them there whilst I went to docs. Picked them up they had a McDonalds. This evening they decided to make brownies, I had no choc chips but did have after eights which they cut up and mixed in. Result very tasty choc/mint brownies. That and a huge gin and tonic earlier meant I am feeling very mellow.

O got an email about school too. All "if its safe" and "2m" and "if things may change" but we have to have plan B in place, fecking blended learning... They will give us. Months notice of how its going to go.
If 2m distancing is still around in August we are doomed. How the hell can businesses continue, tourism work with 2m still the rule.

I thought NS would be wearing a nice tartan 'big slipper' as a mask you can't be to.look careful you know, it would suit her! She definately could start a trend🤣
