Anyone want to keep each other going to loose lockdown weight?

I'm lying here feeling so bloated and big! Got about just under a stone to shift. Started doing some exercise, drinking as much water as possible and going to eat better
Anyone want to start this week too and jeep each other motivated?

I have lost half a stone in two weeks. I know it will now just be a pound a week and that’s fine as this isn’t a race. But that first half a stone really has made a difference to my clothes. Some are too big already.

I never used to have a sweet tooth, and stupidly allowed one to develop. I've not had sweets now for ages, 2 slices of cake in about 7 weeks, but i find I'm craving it daily. I'm eating 2 apples a day for the fibre and the sugar. Can't wait for the craving to subside. This is harder than giving up smoking!

@dudsville I feel your pain! I've always had a sweet tooth which has contributed nicely to my hips and thighs 🙄

I just try my best not to buy any goodies when I do the shop, been snacking on strawberries and yoghurt.

@Namechangex10000 I’ve used Get Running in the past for C25K. I’m so glad I started, it’s made a huge difference to my life.

I’m planning on a better week next week. I can’t snack as I have no snacks in my flat. Plus I walk more.

I weighed myself yesterday, wow. I have 3 stone to lose. A quarter of my body weight. According to bmi charts I’m obese so that’s grand 😩

Me too. I am more toned in arms and legs than I have ever been but also heavier at just under 12 stone and with a wobbly midriff. I'm 5 ft 8. Want to lose a stone but even half a stone would get me back to pre lockdown weight.

I'd like to join in please. I weighed myself this morning and I'm now 10st 10lbs and would love to lose a stone at least. I've been terrible over lockdown and just hate myself for my lack of self-control at the moment. I seem to feel hungry all the time and I'm developing an unhealthy relationship with food. I'm going to follow slimming world, as it's easier for me than counting calories. I'm starting right now!

Well done to everyone who has lost! Awesome news!

Thanks @pinklashes98 I went for my first run with couch to 5k yesterday and it was tough but felt good afterwards. I also had anxiety about wearing my gym clothing outdoors - not helped by the fact that it was very hot here, which meant that shorts were required! Blush I went out early to minimise the amount of people who could see me!

@AllesAusLiebe hiya, that's great! I think once you start and get the first run done it motivates you to keep going. I'm going to try and run today, I also did a chloe ting video in the garden a few days ago. I had the worst aches in my legs post work out! But again felt good for pushing myself, just need to keep going 🙂

I'm back up 1lb today 😠😠 I know it's pre period water retention though. Does anyone else get this? I've seen myself go up 4/5lbs sometimes and after day 2/3 of my period it's back to normal.
I've been so good since Tues and drinking loads of water so there is no way I've gained a pound of fat.
Disappointing though!

I'm just posting because I need to keep motivated. Yesterday i stayed within acceptable calories limit but i ate some pizza. It was so unhealthy, i still feel full and this morning i felt fatter. Since starting this diet I've had two scones (both celebrity events for other people and i didn't want to be the wet blanket) and two fish finger sarnies (this is much more my kind of cheat), so 5 really unhealthy things in 2 months. I had allowed alcohol to be a part of my calorie but i think i need to pull back on that now as I've been on a plateau for several days and that should help shift it. I'm just bored of otherwise eating so healthily. I used to love eating this way and would have hoped that by now my old ways.

@Louise000000 this sort of gain happens to me too. I actually posted about it on another thread and there were people saying I was strange Grin. It's nothing to do with my periods though as I'm 54Wink. Water retention I think.

@dudsvillle I wouldn't restrict anything, all in moderation, have the pizza and scones but balance it out.
I think if I restrict anything I'm more likely to properly fall off the wagon.

Actually that is helpful, Louise, thanks. It's what i always would have said, it seems like a reasonably happy approach to life. Maybe I'm pushing to lose weight too quickly.

Today I'm - 1lb from last Mondays weight
Hoped for a bit more but I hope this is a pound of fat that I've lost. I'm feeling like I have more energy and feeling less bloated this week though which is good.
Look forward to seeing everyone else's progress!!

Can I join please? I only have half a stone to lose now but I'm feeling so gross. Had a bad morning food wise so will start properly tomorrow (although no more sweet treats today, just decaf tea and a healthy dinner this evening).

I was just under 10st 9lbs this morning-I would love to have 2lbs off by next Monday. I've had two coffees and a chicken and grape salad concoction for lunch. Just having a man ice cold Diet Coke and we're having roast duck for dinner, so I will not be having any of the potatoes but plenty of vegetables.

I’m going to go by my weekly average as I weigh daily and get a lot of fluctuations. Last week was 62.8, I’ve gained back the 0.4 I’d lost the week before.

I need to focus on not snacking at home, this is my big downfall. I’m doing 5:2 and today has been a fast day and it’s gone well. I’m using MFP on non fast days today to keep a handle on the snacks.

@chutneypig Snacking at home is something that I am trying curb. In the evenings especially, I need to just stop eating. I had a good day yesterday, hoping for another today. Hope everyone has a good day.

Ive stayed the same this week which is annoying after a 2lb gain last week. The weekend just went downhill though. I thought I'd try to recover things on Sunday & went to the kitchen to make some quick pickled onion, one thing led to another & we ended up with a mezze feast!

Might have to try for an alcohol free weekend to catch up. I need a decent loss this week for a boost. Meals will be a mix of chicken & veg, soup, omelettes & crackerbread & egg mayo. Will start again today to log on mfp. Accountability helps

I lost 2lb but I feel like I just lose and gain the same 2lb over and over!!!
And I can definitely relate to the person who mentioned hormones. I bloat at ovulation and then again just before my period too.

Ooh yes I'm in. I've lost 12 pounds since I started calorie counting on 19th May so 2lbs a week average which is great even though I feel it has slowed the last couple of weeks, that's fine.
I want to get the stone off by Thursday as I'm away to family for the weekend and won't be counting much, that said I'll be good ish as don't want to undo what I've done.
Another stone off would be perfect after that. Typical I finally lose it as pubs and restaurants open again but tbf I spent the first 6 weeks of lockdown eating everything in sight, what a twat. If I'd started cc then I'd be near my goal weight.
I use mfp and log most stuff. I refuse to weigh salad and I don't overdo the amount of fruit I eat. I loosely stick to 16:8 with it, although for example this evening, my gnts will be consumed during the fasting part Blush

My period is due tomo, my daughter just asked if I had a baby in my tummy 😭😭😭
