You're allowed to choose 1 wrapped biscuit....

I am going to the shops, and I will buy you a wrapped biscuit. Eg KitKat, Rocky, club etc
No chocolate bars . Has to be something from the biscuit section/aisle and has to be individually wrapped, so no triple chocolate cookies or custard creams.

What do you choose?

I choose a 2 finger KitKat.

KitKat please, out of the fridge though.

Branleuse · 16/06/2020 21:09

ill have a time out.
I was going to say gold bar, but i only eat the chocolate on the outside, but a time out i can eat the whole thing

@Megatron

Ah now that's a bit controversial *@Drogonssmile* - drifting into chocolate bar territory there. 😂
Ah, but if it's a 1 finger twix ... It might be found with the biscuits.... A reccy will occur and the decision will be made.

This conversation always causes arguments with DP as to what constitutes a biscuit / chocolate bar.

He recons if they’re individually wrapped they’re a chocolate bar. I argue viscount is defo not a chocolate bar. I say if you can buy it singly at the corner shop then it’s a chocolate bar. It always boils down to Kit Kats though, because I think a 2 finger Kit Kat is a biscuit but a 4 finger and a chunky is a chocolate bar Grin

That said, I’ll have a caramel wafer.

octobersky19 · 16/06/2020 21:10

Does a twix count? Mmm. I'm quite partial to a mint penguin if a twix doesn't count

FunTimes2020 · 16/06/2020 21:11

A breakaway please Biscuit

mogloveseggs · 16/06/2020 21:12

@00100001

... Barney bear sits over there with the Jaffa cakes... Your son will just have to watch you all eat your delicious treats Wink
What a shame Grin
Hippofrog · 16/06/2020 21:13

Classic

Caoilainn · 16/06/2020 21:14

KitKat, but only if they bring the foil back so I can imprint the logo on it before eating it!

chocolicious · 16/06/2020 21:14

A Tunnocks tea cake please .

MargaeryTyrell · 16/06/2020 21:15

I will go for a Penguin, thank you very much!

I've also just had to amend my Asda order to include penguins and tunnock's tea cakes....

ExpletiveDelighted · 16/06/2020 21:15

Breakaway or Penguin please

fairydustandpixies · 16/06/2020 21:15

Gold Bar please!

AdaColeman · 16/06/2020 21:18

A Tunnock’s dark chocolate tea cake would be my choice.

I’ll have to put some on my next shopping order now! Wink

SpeedofaSloth · 16/06/2020 21:20

Kit Kat.

Sandybval · 16/06/2020 21:22

Kit kat cookies and cream, or in the right circumstances a gold bar.

missmouse101 · 16/06/2020 21:25

Wagon wheel or orange club.

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 16/06/2020 21:25

A gold bar please.

Funny story, back in the days of the "We buy any gold" adverts my DH who thinks he's funny sent a selection of gold alternatives in, Gold Bars, Gold by Spandau ballet... you get the drift.

They sent him a letter and cheque for £5 thanking him for a break time snack and a laugh.

MrMenGoSwimming · 16/06/2020 21:26

Does amyone remember Echo bars? They were amazing! Sadly this petition was not successful.

MrsGrindah · 16/06/2020 21:27

Or I might have a Blue Riband

AnnaNimmity · 16/06/2020 21:29

oh it's a mint club for me, no question.

And no, I don't think a kitkat counts to all the pps - it's a chocolate bar.

Blueuggboots · 16/06/2020 21:29

Orange club or a mint viscount.
The salted fudge Kit Kat's are pretty awesome but I'd class that as a chocolate bar...

DesmondTheMoonbear · 16/06/2020 21:30

The 4 finger ones are amongst the chocolate bars.

You can get packs of 4 finger Kitkats in the biscuit aisle.

Jody21 · 16/06/2020 21:36

I have a craving for a Kit Kat, the ones that were released a year or so ago. They tasted like a lemon drizzle cake, no one else in my house liked them so I had the whole pack to myself! Not sure if they were just a limited edition release or something but haven't seen them now in a while. Has anyone come across them recently anywhere?

00100001 · 16/06/2020 21:36

@AnnaNimmity

Nestle call it a biscuit bar though...
