I’ve just eaten an entire family sized bag of crisps

M&S salt and vinegar chiplets, to be precise.

The. Entire. Bag. Shock

In my defence I feel like I’m getting a cold and the salt is helping my throat Hmm

Anyone else care to share their gluttony so I don’t feel like a pig for too long? Grin

I've literally just ate 4 full fat greek yoghurts... one after the other because my DD doesn't like them 😂 x

PickAChew · 12/06/2020 16:58

None to report but I can guarantee you'll get people turning up who will insist that they only buy such foods once a year, at Christmas and that one bag lasts their family of 8 a whole week.

DurhamDurham · 12/06/2020 16:59

We've got into the very unhealthy habit of going to M&S on Sunday afternoon and biting a lot of treats. Family bags of crisps, cakes, sweets and anything else we fancy. We spend more than we do on our entire weekly shop at Aldi and it's all uneaten that same day.
We'll have to put a stop to that soon as my jeans are definitely tighter since the start of lockdown.

MynephewR · 12/06/2020 16:59

I could eat a family size bag of crisps if I was hungry.

Last night I ate a big bar of milka chocolate, a bag of ready salted crisps, a Toffee hoops muller corner and one of those Cadbury snap pot yoghurts. I am terrible for evening snacking but last night was particularly bad, would usually be just the bar of chocolate. Not sure what came over me, perhaps I'm hormonal Confused

QuestionableMouse · 12/06/2020 17:00

I'm waiting for a Domino's order. I also have quite a bit of chocolate in my shopping order for tomorrow.

Aquamarine1029 · 12/06/2020 17:02

I think you should drink a lot of water. Grin

KatherineJaneway · 12/06/2020 17:03

It happens. Just go for lots of walks to make up.

GoldenHoops · 12/06/2020 17:15

Tesco have Pringles at half price, I bought a tube....I no longer have any pringles

LilyMarshall · 12/06/2020 17:20

I have a slight completely out of control addiction to salt and vinegar crisps. I have repeatedly tried, and failed, in attempts to either cut down or stop completely. My current brand are tecso’s crinkle cut. It is a real problem. I worry about my heart. But still i have a packet for tonight.

I should have used the CBT i got free with my dh’s health pack in his previous job...

passthemustard · 12/06/2020 17:23

I just ate a whole salmon and broccoli quiche that supposed to feed 4 🤦🏼‍♀️

TheChosenTwo · 12/06/2020 17:24

I could do that!
I’m sure it’s not something you do every day, neither do I, probably every few months but it happens.
However, your crisp choice and flavour is atrocious, I’d request a large bag of Doritos (red or blue) Grin

Sonichu · 12/06/2020 17:24

Amateur.

Sandybval · 12/06/2020 17:25

When I was pregnant all I could keep down for a month or so was salt and vinegar crisps and mars bars, now the sight of either is too much. However any other sort of crisps, the whole bag could easily be demolished. Just drink lots of water and don't dwell!

OrangeGinLemonFanta · 12/06/2020 17:25

I've had to stop buying family bags of crisps for that exact reason.

october18 · 12/06/2020 17:38

I'm jealous...my M&S only had the fat free version and they are definitely not as nice!

aibutohavethisusername · 12/06/2020 17:41

I’ve just eaten a small packet of hula hoops, four Bourbon biscuits & a nakd bar. Mainly boredom eating.

WoollyMollyMonkey · 12/06/2020 17:41

Oh I stopped buying those (and the cheesy balls) as I used to do the same! You start with the intention of just having a few, then you have a few more, and again, then there’s not much left so you might as well finish them off!

MrsGrindah · 12/06/2020 17:41

I could easily eat a whole quiche but not salmon and broccoli!

I am not allowed fig rolls in the house.

UnaCorda · 12/06/2020 17:44

I've just eaten two bags of Mini Cheddars and three chocolate chip shortbread biscuits. I love M&S "Kettle Chips" style crisps, especially the prawn cocktail flavour.

WhoWouldHaveThoughtThat · 12/06/2020 17:45

I thought those big bags were supposed to be consumed in one go (otherwise they could go stale) Shock I've always assumed those small bag are the equivalent of 'match pots' - just to try to see if you like the taste. Confused

TheZeppo · 12/06/2020 17:46

I ate 5 curly wurlys, a bag of cherry Haribo and a giant bag of cheese puffs for lunch.

Just eaten 4 fajitas and now have a giant glass of gin.

Not sorry 👍

Thighdentitycrisis · 12/06/2020 17:47

I regularly (most weeks) do this. Usually S&V too.
Last week or the week before I had a whole pack of Jacobs cracker crisps (S&V)
Today I ate a large pack of M&S pop chips (S&V) for elevenses/lunch

I live alone and often like this and then skip cooking a proper meal.

gracex4 · 12/06/2020 17:50

@TheZeppo my kind of woman!
I was actually thinking how everyone sounds quite healthy and this was quite the norm for me I usually do double that on a Saturday maybe even 2 takeaways 🐷🤣

chunkyrun · 12/06/2020 17:50

I could do that easily but I'm also fat

ScrumptiousBears · 12/06/2020 17:51

I've just started on a bag of sour cream kettle chips. What a treat
