I’ve just eaten an entire family sized bag of crisps

M&S salt and vinegar chiplets, to be precise.

The. Entire. Bag. Shock

In my defence I feel like I’m getting a cold and the salt is helping my throat Hmm

Anyone else care to share their gluttony so I don’t feel like a pig for too long? Grin

@TheZeppo

I ate 5 curly wurlys, a bag of cherry Haribo and a giant bag of cheese puffs for lunch.

No judgement! But genuine question - how do you feel after a lunch like that?!

whichteaareyou · 12/06/2020 17:55

I do this too! I can't resist crisps!

MurrayTheMonk · 12/06/2020 17:55

I don't think there is THAT many crisps in a family sized bag. It's mostly air. You're grand OP.

midnightstar66 · 12/06/2020 17:56

I've just put 4 breaded Camembert in the oven all for myself 👀

NuffSaidSam · 12/06/2020 17:56

'I've always assumed those small bag are the equivalent of 'match pots' - just to try to see if you like the taste'

😂😂

OP I'm planning on doing the same later, it's a Friday treat.

whichteaareyou · 12/06/2020 17:56

I feel better after reading that I'm not the only person who can also eat a whole tub of pringles 🤣

timeforawine · 12/06/2020 17:58

5 border lemon melt biscuits Grin

Bloops · 12/06/2020 18:00

Crisps are my number 1 weakness. I do this more than I'd like to admit Grin

ArtieFufkinPolymerRecords · 12/06/2020 18:00

@aibutohavethisusername

I’ve just eaten a small packet of hula hoops, four Bourbon biscuits & a nakd bar. Mainly boredom eating.
Surely that's just regular snacking, hardly a big pig out is it?
QuestionableMouse · 12/06/2020 18:01

Well I've just had a box of wedges, a 7 inch pepperoni pizza and two cookies.

I'm stuffed now but it was amazing. First thing I've had to eat since March that I haven't cooked myself.

itsgettingweird · 12/06/2020 18:02

I ate a whole tube of Aldi S and V stackers.

Just because I can Grin

NoMoreMaths · 12/06/2020 18:03

I've done this twice during lockdown with sharing bags of Doritos.

MotherofPearl · 12/06/2020 18:06

@TheZeppo I love you.

When I was pregnant and suffering with pregnancy sickness I developed an addiction to Doritos (Cool Original) as they seemed to be the only thing I could keep down. Except I pushed that theory to the limit by eating a family size bag to myself and then found the theory backfired, and they all came back up. Didn't touch Doritos for years afterwards.

StopChelping · 12/06/2020 18:07

I am leaving work and will be on the search for a bag of Mackies Lorne sausage crisps.

I am going to put half a bag in a thickly buttered bap. Twice.

StopChelping · 12/06/2020 18:09

That would be the family sized bag.

BikeRunSki · 12/06/2020 18:10

Easily done OP, easily done

SquirrelFan · 12/06/2020 18:11

"We'll have to put a stop to that soon as my jeans are definitely tighter since the start of lockdown."

Oddly, my jeans are smaller, too! I must be washing them too often in an attempt at hygiene.

JellyfishandShells · 12/06/2020 18:13

I think this post could cross reference to the one about lip fillers because that many salt and vinegar crisps would give you that that tingly temporary puffiness, wouldn’t it ?

Queenoftheashes · 12/06/2020 18:15

I used to do that all the time. I had to stop to lose weight though.

RJnomore1 · 12/06/2020 18:15

In my life, this is not an event that would be worthy of a thread.
🐽

DookaDakkaDikku · 12/06/2020 18:15

Family sized bags are not what they were - everything's been subject to shrinkflation. No worries Grin

JustSew · 12/06/2020 18:22

I make it seem better by buying multi packs instead of family sized. Then I just eat 2 packs or occasionally 3. Different flavours though. Last night I had Tesco Bunny Bites ( an own brand version of Pom Bear which is superior to the original), Sensations Thai sweet chilli and a few prawn crackers. Oh and a magnum. And a Ripple.

Fluffybat · 12/06/2020 18:26

Sharing bag of Cadbury buttons. Always intend to stop at half but I never do.

GreyGardens88 · 12/06/2020 18:27

Which has more calories a bottle of wine or a tube of pringles?

GreyGardens88 · 12/06/2020 18:29

@ScrumptiousBears

I've just started on a bag of sour cream kettle chips. What a treat
Those are the real good stuff
