I draw as a hobby.

I volunteered a drawing as a raffle prize for a local rescue.

I submitted previous pics and people bought a ticket based on that. So they have seen my style.

Orange pic is the generic pug.

This is the winning pups photo and blue is my 75% finished picture

Would you be happy with it?

I'm panicking as I've never sold anything. Just done it for myself.

Sorry but it wouldn’t be something I’d like. Too cartoon-like. However, art is very subjective and there will be as many people love it as not.

I think it's cute. I would be happy. There are probably some folk out there who didn't pay any attention to your previous photos and might be hoping for a lifelike exact copy of the photo, hopefully your winner won't be one of those.

I knit and sew for others and I am way more particular about my things than anyone I have ever made anything for.

I absolutely love that and would be delighted with it. Lovely strong, clean lines and full of dog's personality

They definitely knew what they were getting as the original post was just 3 giant pics of drawings I've done in the past, so like I said they would know my style is very obviously cartoonish/cutesy.

I just have zero confidence in myself and am scared they'll be disappointed, even though I think it's cute.

I haven't drawn in years and am just enjoying doing it.

Nothing ever looks completely right to the artist until it’s 100% finished - and even then it’ll still be lacking in some way in the artists eyes despite everyone else thinking it’s brilliant. That’s the bit of your brain that stops you getting an inflated ego though

These are great! You have a real talent. You could sell them. Just do it as a hobby and list the ones you want to sell - no obligation then, just a bonus of having a hobby.

You don't have to do it on a commission basis though, you could put up what you have already drawn.
