I draw as a hobby.

I volunteered a drawing as a raffle prize for a local rescue.

I submitted previous pics and people bought a ticket based on that. So they have seen my style.

Orange pic is the generic pug.

This is the winning pups photo and blue is my 75% finished picture

Would you be happy with it?

I'm panicking as I've never sold anything. Just done it for myself.

It’s cute. I like it a lot.

I really like it. I get it though - I crochet and am happy to make stuff because I want to then give it away if people express an interest but the few times people have wanted me to make something they request and are happy to pay, I panic.

Have faith though - people here have no reason to say they think it's good if it isn't and we all think it's great

I really like the sphinx cat picture because I'm very firmly on the dark side too

There's nothing wrong with the dog picture but it's not my cup of tea to be honest but that doesn't mean someone else wouldn't be really happy with it!

Yes for my own home I much prefer the darker stuff. I like to do baphomet and other cryptid creatures

I think you've done a great job to make it look like that specific pug/capture his expression given that all pugs essentially look the same.

First off you are very talented, and I am quite jealous 😁. Second, well art is a bit subjective. I think it's cute and would love it, but if they are expecting something more realistic rather than cute, I would say it needs a bit of shading. So it hinges quite a bit on expectations I guess.

Yes. It looks well done and very much in keeping with the other picture you posted. It’s not my taste but if I had bought a ticket and got that I would certainly feel like I’d got what I’d expected.
