It is possible that the Queen and Prince Charles might think that the passing of the DofE should be kept quiet until a proper bells and whistles funeral could take place.

Isn't just a brightly lit (overly lit?) photograph on a very sunny day causing shadows?

I've been known to take the odd photograph (very much an amateur!) with my proper camera and ended up ones which look photoshopped onto the background.

If a royal dies there are hundreds of people who flock to the palace or the royal residence to lay flowers.

This would mean hundreds of people on public transport when we are being told to travel only when we need to.

If CV started spreading around them and they took it back home to relatives in their household we could be back to square one. Plus there no precedent for a royal funeral at such times.
Map if PP had died they could well try and cover it up. Only the closest couple of people and the doctor would know. Everyone else would be kept out if his room. He’d be in a laundry hamper being taken to a chest freezer somewhere for a few months.

Prince Phillip will be buried at Frogmore. If he had died I imagine they'd just do that and have a memorial with military honours in the future.

How do think this cunning plan will play out re any laws that are made in the six months before HMQ's death is revealed? I've never come across such nonsense.

The rumours that he has died keep coming up don't they, if he had though why wouldn't they just announce it?

There will be an extravagant funeral which can't happen right now.

He had already planned not to have a state funeral, it will be a private funeral followed by burial at Frogmore.

Rumour has it that the real reason the wedding was delayed and may not happen is because the grom can't keep his dick in his pants.

I think the RF would welcome any excuse for a quiet, low-key funeral so I can't see any reason they'd lie about deaths right now.
