Corona related? Couldn’t get them both together for a pic so faked it?

They love separately usually, but they are isolating together with a very small staff so it's not totally unimaginable that they would have a photo taken together. It's just a very strange set-up, with them so close to the camera and a funny upwards angle of them. It makes the background look added in but I think its real.

That is a weird photo. I didn't notice her hands until you pointed it out but it looks photoshopped in general, like they have been pasted onto the background. Her hair has a very crisp outline too.

It's a terrible photo though, the way her face is shaded. Presumably they couldn't use a professional photographer from outside the household so maybe they had to photoshop it because the photos were poor quality?

If they needed to fake photos because one of them is dead, I'm sure they would do a better job.

Looks obviously photoshopped to me, the hands look weird. And the background..it doesn't look 'right'..like the backgrounds added on (or it would be the photo has been added onto he background I guess)

My first thought when I saw the photo was that it was a really bad photoshop, surely they could have done better than that!

I'm another one who thinks PP is just too unwell to be outside taking photos now.

As I was reading this and had blown up picture to look closer DS walked by he did A level art and photography spotted immediately the light on the Duke is coming from a different direction to the light on the Queen, he said the hands were so badly done but the dress was correct. Very odd.

you missed the point completely. This isn't about the beauty of her hands but an obvious photoshop line. Have you even looked?

But why would they photoshop it? They must know people would notice. I wonder if they've edited out her ubiquitous handbag

Clockonmantle I don't think people are being mean. They just think the photo is faked / photoshopped.

My question is where is the handbag. She is never without it,it even made its appearance while baking.

I'd like to be alive and have all my buttons at 93. Her Majesty is doing very well indeed.

I am surprised there was no one available to do a better job. They really must not have been in the same place for a good while so no other recent photos at all. I can see the appeal of a throwback one but that would start rumours.

sometimes having too many clever filters on a photo can make it look photoshopped. if this was taken by a non-professional on an iphone and then 'enhanced' with the built in options, it can end up looking odd.

there was a photo of Ivanka Trump by the Taj Mahal that everyone said was photoshopped but was actually an iphone artefact.

I think it’s just a shit photo and someone’s been messing with some filters. Even if he was dead or they were trying to cover up that they lived apart they could have scraped a recent picture without photoshopped hands. It doesn’t make any sense. Unless they are trying to get us to discuss insane conspiracy theories so we don’t talk about the feds being after their son. I like her frock.

I suspect that they may have photoshopped in the background on the basis that they weren't going to drag a 93 and 98 year old to stand around outside in the blazing sun in front of whatever castle that is. They probably took the photo indoors against a boring backdrop and decided to add the castle in to make it more interesting.

She's 94!
We all know what they look like so a bad photoshop effort's neither here nor there really. But it's not the best, I agree.
