Hand hold please- in hospital

Currently lying in A&e with a kidney stone blocking urethra. I have never been in this much pain and it's horrific! Being pumped with pain meds and fluids but going to need surgery. Can anyone keep me company- am lonely terrified and sad!

I have made a painkiller regime so hopefully will be able to keep it manageable. Just need these bloody stones to come out!!

That’s good. One of the many problems of being in hospital can be that you don’t get your pain meds on time and you end up in pain begging the nurses, who act like you are being unreasonable.

Whereas at home you can take them regularly before the last ones wear off.
