The first time grass is cut after the winter - it loses its appeal after that!
The smoke from a turf fire burning.
Wine, when I'm just drawing it towards my lips for the first sip. Can't beat it with a big stick!

snowstorm2012 · 06/06/2020 22:12

Coffeebiscuitsrepeat · 06/06/2020 22:13

@clopper I also love St Eval sea salt candles - I have one in my living room! Good taste...

Bread baking in the oven
Jo malone lime basil and mandarin perfume
A discontinued Rituals diffuser (still sad I can’t get it any more 3 years later!)

I do also love the smell of petrol Blush

Coffeebiscuitsrepeat · 06/06/2020 22:15

Thank you all, and keep them coming! I'm just imagining all these delicious scents. I agree with so many of them! Yet to be sold on dog biscuit feet and new born baby though (haven't 'tried' either!)

I cant believe nobody has mentioned the best smell ever.

Tartyflette · 06/06/2020 22:28

A freshly opened pack of coffee beans.
Neroli. Once stayed in a hotel in Tunisia which had orange trees in pots blooming in the lobby and courtyard; the toiletries were all fragranced with neroli too.

Rain on hot tarmac in the summer.
A really crisp Autumn/Winter morning. Not a specific smell I suppose but that clean fresh cold air breathing in is just perfect.
My horses have a very lovely smell about them but it is difficult to describe.

Victoria6386 · 06/06/2020 22:33

Petrol
Soil
Chalk

101Pizzaqueen · 06/06/2020 22:40

New trainer smell.

The biscuit factory that's over the road.

Bit of a weird one but the smell of my boyfriends T-shirt's/jumpers after he's worn them. It's a combination of aftershave/man smell (only ones he's had on a couple of hours and not ones he's been wearing for days lounging about the house Envy)

Zisforstripyoss · 06/06/2020 22:59

"Real"

Fresh cut grass

Molton brown Frankincense handwash
