Just ordered some from ebay. I absolutely loved them when I was a teenager. I was telling my teen boys about them, they googled the titles a laughed at me...little shits.

I'm going to burst into their rooms and make them listen to an excerpt from Trick or Treat at 3am, then we'll see who's scared.

They used to scare me shitless.
Did anyone else used to love them?

I was so utterly obsessed with Point Horror - they were absolute perfection. I went to Florida when I was 11 in 1991/1992 and brought loads back that hadn’t been released in the UK yet. I basically spent my whole holiday reading 😂

Loved Christopher Pike so much. There was always an element of sadness in his stories despite the scary stuff. Scavenger Hunt for example - it’s really about the friend dying. I LOVED the Final Friends series but that wasn’t particularly scary. Just about whether their friend did or didn’t commit suicide or was murdered or it was an accident. It was just really sad. Chain Letter was properly scary though!

@GorgeousLadyofWrestling that’s so funny. I went to Florida around the same time same age. I spent the whole holiday asking to go to bookshops and reading in the hotel room 😂😂

Wasn’t the ski chalet one Slumber Party?

Wasn’t the ski chalet one Slumber Party?

The Point Horror set at a ski chalet was The Window. I don’t think there’s a PH called Slumber Party; maybe that’s a Christopher Pike?

You all must be pushing the Ebay listings up! Just had a look and I'm sure they are going for a higher price than usual. There's a good 5 book collection with three stories in each one but its already up to £18...I am tempted now though!

@UpToonGirl inspired by this thread, I just went on Amazon to get a few. There’s a Final Friends trilogy by Christopher Pike listed at £440!!! WTH.

Read Trick or Treat earlier. It was a pleasant level of scary.

April Fools and Weekend were my favourites. I'm off to look on ebay!
