It’s being broadcast on the nasa YouTube channel and website.?

Just under 2 hours to launch, they’re just shutting the hatch now.

ILiveInSalemsLot · 30/05/2020 22:22

We just saw a bright orange light go across the sky. What was that?

TokyoSushi · 30/05/2020 22:22

Our 'thing' was a very bright white light, no flashing and moving pretty quick!

tigerwhocametoT · 30/05/2020 22:25

At 22.15 we saw a moving orange/ white light. I'm in West Midlands.

Pavlova31 · 30/05/2020 22:26

Is there a website with a realtime map of where the SpaceX is ?

notimagain · 30/05/2020 22:27

We're in France ATM so got a better look because we were

ISS was it's usual bright self, easy spot.

The Moon was a PITA because of the glare but 5 minutes later we spotted Crew Dragon but only about 30 seconds or so before it faded into eclipse just after it passed pretty much our overhead.

RedToothBrush · 30/05/2020 22:27

We saw ISS at about 10.15.

Dragon wasn't as visible. DH thinks he saw it, but I didn't. about 10.21

ISS was very bright.

MaggieFS · 30/05/2020 22:30

Can't see in that direction due to trees ☹️

How exciting to have seen a space rocket!!

TokyoSushi · 30/05/2020 22:30

Ah, we probably saw the ISS then, never seen it before though (never looked!) so still happy!

FreezerBird · 30/05/2020 22:30

I went outside about 10.25 (having forgotten about it) and saw a bright orange meteor. Very fast moving - much faster than ISS when I've seen that - and only briefly visible.

Not like any meteor I've seen but I'm pretty sure not Spaces.

bonsaidragon · 30/05/2020 22:31

I'm sure we saw it and not the ISS, we've seen the ISS before and what we saw tonight was different from that. I've seen a video of it online which looked just like what we saw.

Celeriacacaca · 30/05/2020 22:31

Saw ISS very clearly from sw London but nothing else unfortunately. Always exciting seeing the space station.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 30/05/2020 22:31

Sitting in the garden. Not seen a darn sausage.
Glad for those who did tgough.

FreezerBird · 30/05/2020 22:31

Has anybody else seen it on Xmas Eve and told their children that it's a sleigh? Grin

Could you link? I'm doubting myself now.

CherryPavlova · 30/05/2020 22:33

Just went out to see it.

Yes, we saw that too, going from west to south east? It was a lot faster than the ISS and was very low. We saw it for quite some time but we're not in a built up area.
PickwickThePlockingDodo · 30/05/2020 22:35

We saw it here (Essex) at about 22:13, it looked like an orange/white dot, came from the SW arched across the sky and disappeared. It looked how an aeroplane looks at night but with no flashing lights.

twitter.com/search?q=%23SpaceX%20UK&src=typeahead_click will show you several
bonsaidragon · 30/05/2020 22:38

Mind you, several of the videos of it are clearly aeroplanes.
