Or any of the branded ones. Are they worth the ££? Any cheaper alternatives? I want to order them for the dds but they are £30 upwards!!! 😱 but I'm happy to pay for a super and everlasting product though

Love mine, I’m terrible for drinking enough water as I really only like it freezing cold. Have found the bottle really helps in that respect. Have been grumpy as I left mine in the office the last day I was in before lockdown and really want it back!
I don’t doubt that there are cheaper alternatives that are just as good but I don’t regret buying mine.

Wolfiefan · 24/05/2020 18:18

Seem to be on offer on amazon today!

AnotherEmma · 24/05/2020 18:18

I have a Chilly's bottle and love it. I'd fill it up from the water cooler in the office and have lovely cold water all day. It's not the same now I'm just filling it from the tap at home 😭

Chirpychirpy3 · 24/05/2020 18:18

I love mine

Candy150 · 24/05/2020 18:19

I love my chillis bottle, there are plenty of cheaper alternatives though. I have a couple that seem to work just as well.

chipsandpeas · 24/05/2020 18:19

i have one bought from the chilys website the 500ml only cost £20 as it was a plain one

Yellredder · 24/05/2020 18:20

I have cheaper ones that leave the water cool, or hot, whichever you've put in!

MadisonAvenue · 24/05/2020 18:20

I’ve been using a SHO bottle for around a year and it’s great, it doesn’t leak and keeps water icy cold for hours. In the heatwave last year the outer of the bottle got quite warm when I was out and about for hours but it didn’t affect the temperature of the water.

I think I paid around £10 from Amazon and there was a great selection of colours, and the bottle has a really nice texture too. It’s not smooth and slippery to hold.

VanGoghsDog · 24/05/2020 18:21

I've got three different makes and they are all the same in terms of keeping cold (never tried hot) but the Mountain Warehouse one leaks. The other two don't. I think the other is Smash or something.

jaggynettle · 24/05/2020 18:21

Tesco's own ones work just as well as a Chillys one. I have both and can't tell the difference. Water just as cold from the Tesco one as from the Chillys one.

SpiderPlantSally · 24/05/2020 18:21

They are pretty good for keeping stuff hot or cold. Not so easy to clean thoroughly as not dishwasher safe.

I have a chilli bottle and I have one of these. DD likes the Chilli bottle because it's a cool brand. I like the Amazon flask because I can fire loads of ice cubes into it - so I don't need to use pre-chilled water. It works really well - as well as the Chilli bottle - I like that it has a handle - you can get smaller ones too!

Heismyopendoor · 24/05/2020 18:29

Me and all my kids have the Tesco ones and they really are good!

Trying to order the tesco ones now the links don't go anywhere on the tesco site - thank you though I will look in store x

None of them can go in the dishwasher though which I find really inconvenient.

worriedandannoyed · 24/05/2020 18:33

Typo have a lot reduced - they're usually £20ish and I got a rose gold one for £4 this week! My kids have them and love them

RhubarbCrumble1 · 24/05/2020 18:34

Chilly bottles are bomb proof. I have the 750ml one. Keeps a bottle of wine cold perfectly 👍

NannyR · 24/05/2020 18:39

I have a Tesco copy of a chilly bottle, I think it cost me a fiver. It keeps water freezing cold for hours - last weds when it was really warm I filled it up with ice and chilled water at 4pm at work then left it in the car overnight, the ice still hadn't melted at 9am the next day.

hm246 · 24/05/2020 19:26

I brought one similar from the range for around £7. I’m not sure of the brand. It is very good, was out in the garden last week, the bottle was one the grass in direct sunlight and the water was still cold.

Pinkstars2501 · 24/05/2020 19:29

I have a Chilly's one and it's ace! Keeps drinks hot or cold for hours and hours.
DH has one similar from Typo, does exactly the same.

jaggynettle · 24/05/2020 19:29

@nevernotstruggling the Tesco bottles are half price in store at the moment - around £4. I had to replace mine as DD and DH keep swiping them Smile

ThePurpleMoose · 24/05/2020 19:36

I had a never-ending parade of plastic drinks bottles which all started to leak or taste funny or go mouldy under rubber seals etc, then I got a 750ml Chilly's bottle and haven't looked back. It's reliable, hard-wearing, keeps drinks cool and is big enough for the amount of water I drink while at work.

Ghostlyglow · 24/05/2020 19:55

I've got a Sho one. I think you can get discount codes for them.

DontStandSoCloseToMe · 24/05/2020 20:05

I've had others, my chilly's one is amazing, we've all got them now patents and in laws included, once they saw how cold they keep drinks and for how long they all wanted them! I got mine as a gift

PuntoEBasta · 24/05/2020 20:23

The Sho ones are brilliant.
