Or any of the branded ones. Are they worth the ££? Any cheaper alternatives? I want to order them for the dds but they are £30 upwards!!! 😱 but I'm happy to pay for a super and everlasting product though

My dc have the Kolly Kolla stainless steel bottles from amazon and I can't rate them highly enough. Come in a variety of sizes and a range of colours including 2 tone colours which dd loves. Only £12 and come with a spare straw, 2 types of lid and so easy to clean the straw part all the way through so no hidden mould!

Keeps their water cold even in the heat and have lasted them forever. I'm not a sales rep for them honest Grin

I have an aorin bottle which is only about 12£ and ive had it at least two years of daily use.

As good as a chillys bottle and comes with an excellent neoprene sleeve with a carabiner clip I use to keep it on my bag. Would highly recommend.

Megan2018 · 24/05/2020 21:04

I have one from Wilko that is just as good as my Chilly’s one and it was £5

StoorieHoose · 24/05/2020 21:04

I have a Sho and a Chilly and both are exactly the same quality wise

Nanasueathome · 24/05/2020 21:15

I love the Emma Bridgewater ones

Rockbird · 24/05/2020 21:23

I have a Sho, DH has chilly and the dds have supermarket versions and they're all fab. Totally bombproof which is great after a 7 year supply of plastic school waterbottles. Doesn't matter how battered these get, they'll never leak. Just have to make sure they're properly cleaned and aired and we don't put anything but water in them.

Love51 · 24/05/2020 21:25

My sister bought one of those, but she said it wasn't worth the money. I asked her what she put in it, she said 2 cups of coffee and a choc ice.

Theyweretheworstoftimes · 24/05/2020 21:26

Sho have keyworker discount of 50% off.

For any worker on the Gov keyworker list.

Myfriendanxiety · 24/05/2020 21:29

I have a Klean Kanteen that’s great.

nevernotstruggling · 24/05/2020 21:30

I want one how do you keep them clean? With a baby bottle type brush?

BigcatLittlecat · 24/05/2020 21:41

Random question but how do you clean them? Anyone put one in the dishwasher?

nevernotstruggling · 24/05/2020 21:44

I've had a baby bottle brush for years for cleaning drink bottles. They are so handy!!!

I swear water tastes better out of my Chilly bottle! Far superior to those plastic ones

Newuname199987 · 24/05/2020 21:49

We have several Sho bottles and they are great. Seen like a good company too and donate to charity. Great choice of sizes and colours.

missbipolar · 24/05/2020 22:13

I have a moon one with I think is just as good, and the 750ml one is half the price of a chilly 500ml one

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 24/05/2020 22:16

I got my Chilly bottle for £10 when they were changing the logo. I love it.

DS has a different brand from TK Max for less and that seems very similar.

Alicatz66 · 24/05/2020 22:21

Nah ... just drink out of a glass !! ... I don't get why everyone lugs water around .. unless you are on some day long expedition you're not going to shrivel up .. why pay £20
for a bottle !!

SunflowerSeedsForever · 24/05/2020 22:55

Amazing- we had cheaper ones before which were rubbish by comparison. Chilly keep peppermint tea hot for 24 hours. They are also beautiful- have plain brushed chrome

Heismyopendoor · 24/05/2020 23:10

@Alicatz66 how do you drink out of a glass when you are out and about? Water that has been sitting out in a glass for five hours tastes funny and isn’t cold, ends up getting poured away which is wasteful.

I can fill up a bottle (I have the half price Tesco ones,£4 not £20) and take it with me wherever I go. Around the house, out for walks, to my kids activities, to the shops, whilst running errands etc. It seems wasteful to buy a plastic bottle of water when out instead of bringing my own reusable one with me. Yes I can access it, but why should I?

You might not shrivel you if you don’t drink for several hours of course, but I know within that time I will start to feel thirsty which means you are already getting dehydrated, dehydration is a trigger for my headaches, I could go on.

nevernotstruggling · 24/05/2020 23:29

@Alicatz66 er I've been on a nature reserve all day with no taps.....what a strange post

Thanks everyone so the next question.....which size bottle? Dp thinks the 500ml ones are too small for a day trip for the dds who are 7 and 10

OP posts:
VanGoghsDog · 25/05/2020 00:47

A day trip with no access to water?

I'd take a 500ml one per person but also a large family boring old fashioned flask which you can refill the smaller bottles from, and you can carry the smaller bottles around easier and leave the big flask in the car.

I have a 350ml to take to work because with all my laptop and stuff 500ml was too heavy to carry - they are quite heavy even when not full.

I walk about ten miles most Sundays and drink about a litre in warm weather. For context.

GrumpyHoonMain · 25/05/2020 00:51

I have a Nalgene one as they are made entirely in the USA and are excellent for all types of drinks.
