Morning all, well the cafe thread is just about full so here's the new thread.

Just a reminder Florence has made pastries over night, the garden is open with the sensory garden, the cat area (with catnip bush) is available and feel free to cool your feet int the water feature.

A slice of malted fruit loaf toasted would be lovely!

Didn't end up doing anything yesterday and it was fab! Just relaxed the whole day in my Pjs.

@Frownette I think you are right, I'm going to look into maybe booking into a hotel for a night or something soon as a treat.

@mogloveseggs so glad things are better for you! Hopefully they will continue to improve.
It's not his purchases that are coming out but an amazon service that comes out monthly. I've paid for the last 2 months even though I have no way of using it. Hopefully the bank will be able to stop it happening again! Trying not to let myself get too worked up about it, it's only a few quid and he's not worth all the headspace anymore.

Much sunnier here today and I'm meeting my friend for a walk and I'm so looking forward to it!

Well crumpets are certainly a hit.

I'm glad things are settling down for people.

OK as the crumpets are so popular I'll keep them on for a second day but add fruit and a selection of hams and cheeses.

Yes please go crumpets with marmite and cheese, baby will enjoy too. Fairly good night here but an early start so trying to get another bit of sleep now but seems we are failing 🤦🏼‍♀️

Looking forward to spending time in the garden today. Can I sit over there in the shade?

@crazycatlady7 you have a baby that likes marmite? I also have vegimite.

@sashh he isn't sure but I make marmite and peanut butter sandwiches which he enjoys a few steals from me.... but marmite on toast is a no. 🤷‍♀️ he's a good eater as I do have some strong tastes and so far the only thing he's said no to is my potato curry and I even made that too hot for me and DH 😂

And sorry I hate vegimite!

Well I never, a baby who eats marmite - I'll bring you some more toast into the garden, the baby might enjoy watching the kitten bees.

@mogloveseggs I don't think baby will ever sleep through and secretly love the sleepy snuggles. Last night he resettled in his cot twice and was up at 5.45. Two feeds in the night so better. The last few weeks he's been bed sharing with me feeding loads in the night that he keeps leaking through his nappies.

I just don't like it when he's up for an hour in the night but it's improving finally until the next hurdle

So today I'm thinking Jewish. Well for breakfast, not for everything. So a full Jewish breakfast, basically all the vegi bits from a full English, with eggs but cooked as shakshushka, cholent, challah toast, latkes and a few olives, grapes and cherry tomatoes.

Extra spicy Shakshuka [sp] sounds delicious for Sunday morning brunch.

May I ask for non kosher pimped up version i.e Feta crumbled in or even more yum, some grilled Halloumi on the side?

Can't remember the last time I had Challah bread! Bouncing around in anticipation of just the smell - yum! X

Lovely sunny day here again so I’m making the most of it by getting a wash on line early :) probably another walk again today at some point and playing in the garden with the little one.
I’ll have some shackshuka please! I’ve never had it in rl but keep seeing it on menus and think ‘I’ll try some of that one day’!
