Be honest, would you change it? Pictured attached

It's my nose. I've always felt so uncomfortable by it. I'm unsure if it's a genuine unsightly nose, because let's be honest some of us do just have not so nice features, or if I'm a bit warped and it's fine.

I've read that noses have names but I've never seen one that matches mine. At all.

Would you change it? I'm very happy to receive negative criticism on my nose. I know myself that it isn't pretty Smile just wondering if you'd bother with surgery? I would have the cash to do it soon I hope

Do not change your nose! It's suits your face very well!

I think if you went through all the hassle of surgery you might still find it imperfect.

Idododoidadada · 19/05/2020 14:14

Gosh no.
There is NOTHING wrong with your nose. Don’t mess with it, it’s not big and bold. You are beautiful as you are.

ABagOfPopcorn · 19/05/2020 14:15

Absolutely nothing wrong with that nose at all! You should try having mine.

The hairdressers always conveniently miss my nose out when taking side profile pictures 🤨

BabyLlamaZen · 19/05/2020 14:15

If you got your nose changed you wouldnt look like you. It's a nice nose!

Strugglingtodomybest · 19/05/2020 14:15

Find something else to worry about because you're wasting your time worrying about a perfectly lovely nose on an above average looking face.

RedKite1 · 19/05/2020 14:18

Ok, just saw you’ve posted a face picture. You are beautiful, Lordy, what are you thinking! Please drop this, and don’t go near a plastic surgeon.

AndwhenyougetthereFoffsomemore · 19/05/2020 14:18

Very cute, well proportioned nose ;-) I have a large, Grecian nose, and i'd swop in a heartbeat!! Honestly, if I met you I'd think you had a nice nose. And from what I can see, a lovely smile too :-)

MoreOrNone · 19/05/2020 14:19

I'm so flattered, thank you all Flowers I know it sounds silly but whenever I have my hair cut I always look in the mirror and think 'gosh you're an ugly beast' and it's only because of the nose! I'm happy elsewhere so no idea why it bothers me so much

Agree with what others said, your nose balances your face. In the full face photo, your eyes are the first thing that draws the eye, and then the nose leads attention to your smile/mouth. You are very pretty, and your nose enhances your other features, imo.

Potionqueen · 19/05/2020 14:22

You have lovely smiling eyes, a nice smile and a cute nose. Don’t change it.

1forsorrow · 19/05/2020 14:22

@MoreOrNone I think it is a perfectly fine nose, however, I'm a great believer in doing something if it is bothering you enough. I had a big gap in my front teeth, people told me it was cute, I had my freenum cut and wore braces for 2 or 3 years to close the gap. Fifty years later I have no regrets.

Aesopfable · 19/05/2020 14:26

For example in this pic you can see how it dips down when I smoke

Smoking is unattractive - stop smoking

monkeyonthetable · 19/05/2020 14:27

No, I wouldn't change that nose. It's pretty.

MoreOrNone · 19/05/2020 14:30

That should say dips when I Smile! I've never smoked in my life

It is a thoroughly normal so no, I wouldn’t change a thing.

If you did, who is to say you wouldn’t fixate on THAT nose and hate it too?

NeutrinoWrangler · 19/05/2020 14:32

I think everyone (or many, at least) feels their nose looks weird, if they look at it long enough. Many body parts (feet, toes, for example) can begin to look odd if you focus on them, but as parts of the whole, no-one will ever even stop to consider if they're "beautiful".

Your nose looks perfectly fine to me. Definitely not standing out in a negative way!

NoMorePoliticsPlease · 19/05/2020 14:33

NO leave it alone

IncrediblySadToo · 19/05/2020 14:33

What sort of nose do you imagine would suit your face better?

You can have my ski ramp if I can have your teeth 🤣

I'm not sure that what we say is going to change your mind, but to me it suits your face perfectly. You're young, attractive, have gorgeous teeth and look to have a nice figure and your house (assuming it's yours?!) looks lovely.

Do TRY to forget about this and enjoy your life, you'll be 50 before you know it, look back on photos of this time in your life and wonder what the actual hell you were thinking nd wondering why you didn't appreciate what you had at the time!

titnomatani · 19/05/2020 14:34

Try living with an 'aqualine' nose aka hook/beak like! That's what mine looks like but you know what, it suits me and makes me, me- there's no way I'd change it.

Your teeth are amazing btw!

LimpLettice · 19/05/2020 14:34

I dislike my nose intensely, so I do understand, but actually it fits my fave and there's nothing wrong with it exactly, I wouldn't even notice it on someone else, it's just not my favourite part of my face.

You are very attractive indeed, your nose is not big or misshapen at all!

The thing is, the media is showing us so many women who all have the exact same boring nose that we're starting to see the surgery version as normal. It isn't, and the homogenous look is so boring and undistinctive. I was thinking this morning that I hope this conformity of slug brows, huge lashes, centre parted wavy hair and plastic nose buggers off before my ten yr old starts worrying about this stuff as it's so dull, every single woman looking the blasted same.

1forsorrow · 19/05/2020 14:34

I think people do worry that if you change one thing it can get addictive and I know it can for some people but for me once I sorted my gappy smile I was happy, even when I fell and broke my nose I never had any desire to fix it and they offered to do it on the NHS.

rosegoldwatcher · 19/05/2020 14:36

Your whole face is lovely! Any surgical change to your nose would alter your looks immeasurably - don't do it!
I seem to remember reading that Marilyn Monroe (reputed to be one of the most beautiful women in her time) was obsessed with a bump on her nose that no-one else noticed.

HappyDinosaur · 19/05/2020 14:37

No, I wish my nose was more like yours...I wouldn't dare post a pic of mine.

Poetryinaction · 19/05/2020 14:38

Are you kidding? It's perfect. I'd swap.

picklemewalnuts · 19/05/2020 14:38

It doesn't have a name because it's 'normal'. Named noses are deviations from normal, which sometimes become fashionable or unpopular.
