My 14 year old dd has just started really enjoying films. She hates anything in the least bit scary.

Mine has basically worked her way through all Julia Roberts/Sandra Bullock/Meg Ryan/Matt Damon/Tom Hanks type films. Loves Dirty Dancing. Recently really liked Instant Family and Bridget Jones's Baby.

Not a rom com but we really enjoyed Fighting with my family recently - about a young female wrestler from Norwich trying to make it in the WWE. Very funny and moving.

Gosh, this thread has reminded me of a film DSis and I were obsessed with as teenagers, about a teenage girl who hoes on a few ch exchange to Paris. Obvs falls in love with the son of the hosts.

Not a rom com. But Ferris Bueller's Day Off is brilliant. Honestly she must watch it!
