The dementor nimbys on fb saying stay home for a few more weeks and then it will all be OK. No it bloody wont, we are stuck with this so have to suck it up and carry on carefully as we can. What happened to the stiff upper lip we are so famed for, we really are a nation of chicken licken types now god help us.

There are supposedly mass but socially distanced meet ups going on this Saturday. I thought it was fake news. But loads on my wall, 'If you're going to one of these remove yourself from my list!' followed by a litany of reasons why such people are morally inferior. No, not planning to go on one of these, but seriously, no one needs your permission from FB, dear, wind your neck in!

I'm off back to work in a school this week, I will use my common sense obviously, but will it be my fault if the kids die of covid or the governments for lifting lockdown too early?....
If children die because I've spread the virus despite my nurse standard hygiene I will get sued not the government.

I am not happy because i cant taste things properly due to meds fecking my taste buds up so if i can whinge anyone can. Have tried Spicey soup..nah, tangy sandwich spread and ham sarnie with cheese and onion crisps...yeuk. Now i am torn between another glass of wine or a coffee with bloody oat milk as can't have dairy for 4 bloody hrs before i take damm meds. Trying not to grab the new pot of alpro blueberry yogurt and a big spoon! Ds2 made doughnuts yesterday with creamy vanilla sauce and its sitting in fridge mocking me.😠

I’d bloody love my child go to go back to school, but she’s y7 and they don’t seem to exist anymore.

Ds2 is year 7 and he's itching to get back to school. But he's now invisible too apparently so no hope for him.

In the country I live in (where schools are now completely back and year one went back three and a half weeks´ago), the school opening announcements came right before the weekend, with the school opening the following week. I thought it was a bit rough that they didn't give more notice, but after reading the threads on here, I think that might have been a good idea. Less time for dementoring and hysteria to grow.

Yep... I had a Scottish dementor doing that on FB the other day. Now again, today, they are wanting to put banners over the Welcome to Scotland signs, reading 'Scotland is closed, fuck off'

Hi! back from my beach walk! I actually drove a bit further than 1 hour in the end....1hr 40!

A glorious 7-8 mile walk, no tuts from the very few folk about. Just evryone smiling and looking happy! Holkam beach Norfolk is lush. flask of tea, sarnies......

The scottish tourism chief is blowing smoke, he says scotland closed in the summer. All this when the national trust there says it is on its knees. Visit Scotland director Riddell Graham says too many vulnerable in parts of Scotland.

The good news is Wales have contradicted themselves so many times over golf/fishing whether to drive or walk there, when to open up, they have thrown in the towel and you can drive to the golf course, you can put your fishing gear in the car and drive there. My OH will be off fishing tomorrow

Those bloody seagulls have taken up residence on our side of the river, stealing bird food, crapping and bonking on the conservatory roof, jakers the noise. they tap dance whilst mating. Be glad when Greggs, subway and the chippies are open again and they bugger off.
