Anyone know a good flower delivery company?

I’ve just realised it’s a big birthday for someone and I want to send some nice flowers - for Monday!

I’ve seen loads of companies online that look lovely - but don’t want it to end up like a bunch of half-dead daffs!

I recommend Flowerbox as well.

Whatever you do don’t use eFlorist. DP sent me an expensive bouquet of roses on valentines and they arrived so dead they were only fit for the bin. They never replied to our complaints either

I've used both Next and John Lewis for flowers too. Next can be a bit generic so if you want something unusual it's probably not what you want, but they are quite good value and I think if you want something that doesn't need arranging they're good.

Serenata flowers - the £25 jobs including delivery have always turned out well and last quite a while. You might be pushing it for Monday, but your friend is an adult and won't mind.

look on the usual discount sites for a code.

Another Bloom and Wild recommendation here... recently bought three months for DM’s birthday.
She contacted them to say the roses had gone past their best after a couple of days, and they are adding on an extra month... so super service for us.

It's my birthday tomorrow. You'll be er guess what I got a couple of hours ago? Bloom and wild delivery Grin

Love everything about them. They'll open up properly in a day or two.

Thanks to whoever used my code before, going to treat my mum I think as I can't see her

I used Prestige Flowers and got tracked delivery with exact time of delivery and a photo (DPD). I paid for a delivery pass so will get postage free next time.

I can recommend Petalon, started in London delivering by bicycle , I love their ecological business model and the flowers are beautiful. They now deliver nationwide by post.

Thanks orangecake123 I have just ordered some flowers for my dad for his birthday he’s obsessed with his garden so he’ll love them Smile and here’s my code in case anyone wants £10 off their first order. refer.bloomandwild.com/m/ol/xj0sf-dba2474536

Thinking of ordering from Bloom & Wild for a relative's birthday. I have never ordered from them before. Should I get one nice bunch (£30-40) or a three month subscription to the letterbox flowers (£60)? What would you all recommend?

Thank you

Shockers · 11/05/2020 13:13

I came on to recommend Bloom and Wild too! I ordered the meadow window box for someone and it was lovely!

Lordfrontpaw · 11/05/2020 13:35

OldHollywood - I have the first of a ‘season’ hopefully being delivered tomorrow so I will report back. We went for the ‘middle’ range so I’m interested to see what all 3 look like.

I've used Bloom and Wild a few times and the recipients have always been pleased.
However I received a bunch last week that keeled over in a couple of days, not great.
I'll definitely give them the benefit of the doubt and use them again but I've just ordered flowers for a relative from Bunches to see what they're like.

itsallopticsanyway · 11/05/2020 15:58

I would go against what a lot of people have said and not use Bloom and Wild atm. Their arrangements are lovely but I've ordered two lots to people during lockdown, both delivered within 48 hours of dispatch (no no huge RM delay) and both arrived with dead and squashed flowers.

To be fair to them they did give me a £10
voucher and their CS for this time, was fast. I'd use them again in normal times but their quality isn't up to scratch currently.

SpringFan · 11/05/2020 16:07

I use Bunches regularly. I have found them really good. One the one occasion the recipient said the flowers were not as good as usual, they replaced with no quibble.this was the week before Christmas as well.

Orangecake123 · 11/05/2020 20:20

Thank you.

I send a lot of flowers and have had problems with Next and M&S.

Have currently been using Serenata flowers without any problem.

Lordfrontpaw · 12/05/2020 12:31

Ok people - so the flowers arrived on time, the blooms all wrapped and the whole thing well boxed (I even had the tracking code from them and got an email when they were our for delivery and the when they arrived). There’s a little booklet in there too - and a personalisable card!

I just hope they have a vase!

Excellent. 😁

Leflic · 12/05/2020 23:46

I do use Bloom and Wild a lot but they’re prices have shot up with Corona Virus. Same with Serenata . Prices are good with a code but those are for new customers and I’ve been using them since they started.
Don’t forget TopCashBack too.
I‘m not in London. I’ll have a look at M&S maybe.

Bertucci · 12/05/2020 23:55

I love Bloom and Wild and also Freddie's Flowers and Flowerbx. I get weekly Freddie's Flowers but as I am extremely fussy, I cancel if it's going to be anything I dislike - such as yellow. I also like Waitrose.

I have read bad reviews of M&S but someone sent me a bunch recently and they lasted well over 2 weeks and were gorgeous.

AlwaysCheddar · 13/05/2020 07:13

Just had done from M&S ... they are lovely. Just sent some from their as well.

knitterknotterglory · 13/05/2020 08:08

@Bridecilla , hello and thank you, I used your code. Smile
