I don't

CaryStoppins · 29/04/2020 16:20

Most women who were young in the 90s are pencilling them back in...

SkelingtonArgument · 29/04/2020 16:20

75%

The majority - 90 per cent.

Likethebattle · 29/04/2020 16:21

I have to admit mine are crazy. My mother has never touched hers.

HeffalumpsCantDance · 29/04/2020 16:21

No idea, but DD was laughing hysterically after years of having thick eyebrows, watching the fashion change and all of the pluckers having to draw eyebrows back on after years of abusing them.

Baskininthegarden · 29/04/2020 16:22

Not at ALL maybe 20% and just 1 or 2 strays maybe 60% .. leaving 20% who go for proper wax/shape.

Umnoway · 29/04/2020 16:22

I haven’t for years, not since my teens when it was fashionable to have paper thin ones.

june2007 · 29/04/2020 16:23

I don,t. Don,t think sisters do either.

Greysparkles · 29/04/2020 16:24

Nope, never bothered

1066vegan · 29/04/2020 16:25

Maybe the percentage varies according to age.

I'm in my early 50s. I tried plucking them once when I was in my teens but it hurt so I never bothered again. Waxing and threading weren't a thing when I was young so I've never tried either of those.

BrooHaHa · 29/04/2020 16:26

Right now? Got to be the majority. Umm... 72.7%?

Are you only including women who pluck regularly or also occasional pluckers?

Lostvoiced · 29/04/2020 16:26

I don't.
I have considered getting them shaped by someone who knows what they're doing, but I'm not gonna do it myself.
And to be honest, I've never been bothered enough to get them done.

FizzyPink · 29/04/2020 16:27

I haven’t for about 10 years and have had them micro bladed to make them a bit thicker looking.

I was a 90s over plucker and they’ve never grown back Blush

Lulu1919 · 29/04/2020 16:27

I don't
But might get them done for a special occasion ...

BarbaraofSeville · 29/04/2020 16:28

I've done it twice in my lifetime. It might look slightly nicer, but not to the degree that I feel that I must keep up with it, because I CBA with all that.

One thing that I'm currently grateful for is that I don't do any grooming at all apart from a box dye on my hair maybe a couple of times a year, therefore I don't have a myriad of treatments that I feel like I'm having to do without or find home solutions for. I don't even have haircuts, I just tie it up and trim the ends if they need it.

PaulTheWineGuyPaul · 29/04/2020 16:28

I don’t. Late thirties. Never have done. Never needed to. My ears start bleeding when I hear colleagues have more than a ten minute discussion about eyebrows!

BlueBooby · 29/04/2020 16:28

Yeah I think something like this. I am in the group who does the odd stray. I do notice a lot of teenage girls/younger women seem to have very "done" looking eyebrows these days. I don't know if theyre all shaped but I'd say most have make up on their eyebrows.

Holothane · 29/04/2020 16:29

I don’t never had the eye sight to do it.

VaTeLaverLesMains · 29/04/2020 16:29

Are you talking worldwide or uk?

I pluck a few strays and have never waxed anything.

ktjerl · 29/04/2020 16:29

I do down the middle so I actually have 2 brows but that's it.

Dozer · 29/04/2020 16:30

Interesting one!

I’ve got naturally good eyebrows Hmm

A friend once went way too far plucking hers and found that rain, make up etc all went straight into her eyes - they have biological functions!

Elouera · 29/04/2020 16:31

I agree, it depends on age and culture. My MIL and a great aunt both draw theirs on! I assume it was a 'thing' in the 1960's to pluck them completely out?

I personally have a 'thing' when I see people was a mono-brow (both men and women) and get a shiver. I find it can't stop looking at it when talking to them and get fixated staring- eeerrrrr!

Snaga · 29/04/2020 16:31

I never have but every female I know does so I'd put women who maintain their eyebrows at around 95% based on my small sample.

In reality it's probably closer to 80%

Fartlek · 29/04/2020 16:31

I clear up the odd stray one but otherwise I can't be bothered. It just seems pointless to spend time either plucking them to tiny lines (90s) or filling them in to look like caterpillars. Both styles never made sense to me.
