I don't. I plucked them as a teenager and in my twenties, but TBH they're quite tidy as they are.

Nope!

I did a little when I was early 20's & wore makeup to work. No idea why really, just 'the fine thing' I guess

Had them waxed once -never again

Threaded once after a friend convinced me it didn't hurt. She lied. It hurt WAY more than getting a Brazilian.

Never again. They're fine as they are! They don't need removing or drawing in and if anyone else thinks they do, they can keep that thought to themselves 🤣

arsethesizeofsmallcountry · 29/04/2020 19:10

I have waxed mine since I was 16 - I was bullied over them at school some fifteen years ago ... I feel horrendously ugly if I don’t have them shaped and waxed . They haven’t been done since Feb now which must be the longest I’ve ever gone .

My face would literally be one massive eyebrow if I didn't do something. However I have stopped painfully plucking them and purchased a little eyebrow shaver thing off amazon (it says it's a facial epilator but it's not, it definitely shaves rather than pulls out the hairs) and what a revelation! I can tame the brows painlessly, quickly and with minimal fuss! I highly recommend them to anyone sick of plucking! You can also use it on your 'stache and chin hairs (oh the joys of having dark hair and pale skin!).

Shouldershrugger · 29/04/2020 19:22

I'd have to say the number would be quite high now! But I had to thread my own after leaving them for 6 weeks! My face felt so much lighter 😂😂

TwoZeroTwoZero · 29/04/2020 19:46

I don't do anything to my eyebrows. I never have. As you might be able to see though, as I get older they're getting more bushy but thinner and almost disappearing towards the outer edge. I'm not bothered enough to do anything about it though!

You have the most beautiful eye @TwoZero. Grin.

mbosnz · 29/04/2020 19:56

Most women who were young in the 90s are pencilling them back in...

You're not wrong!

oohnicevase · 29/04/2020 19:57

I have never touched mine .. they are thick and blonde and it Feckin hurts when I tried to pluck them as a teen . Stopped after 1.3 seconds !! I like my natural brows , I think fake : messes with ones are very ageing !!

scrivette · 29/04/2020 19:58

I don't. I used to occasionally but ever do now. My mum hasn't ever done hers.

Oblomov20 · 29/04/2020 21:00

Clearly this thread is not the norm. Most under 21's have huge eyebrows.

MsRinky · 29/04/2020 21:06

I've hoiked the Gallagher mono-brow out the middle since I was about 15, but have never touched the rest, other than to root out the odd grey amongst the black.

The concept of fashionable brows completely passed me by - I was young in the 90s, but obviously not the kind of young who cared about skinny eyebrows.

Oblomov20 · 29/04/2020 21:14

Bugger.
My favourite photo EVER didn't post eith my first post on this thread. Angry

Oblomov20 · 29/04/2020 21:18

Why aren't my pictures posting? Angry

blettedmedlar · 29/04/2020 21:33

I tidy up stray hairs, but make me are so blonde as to be almost invisible, so I don't do much. I will shade them occasionally for special occasions, and I have successfully dyed them in the past. The worst thing now, which I think is a menopause thing, is the odd hair that grows thick and wiry, kind of like copper fuse wire! I pluck those ASAP!

TwoZeroTwoZero · 29/04/2020 21:33

@AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff Grin thank you very much! 👀 for some reason my eyes come out looking really, strikingly blue on photos whereas in real life they're just bog-standard blue Grin

CuteOrangeElephant · 29/04/2020 21:35

I have perfect eyebrows but they are so light that they might as well be invisible Angry

BackforGood · 29/04/2020 21:40

By that logic @Snaga - I can balance you out, as, of all the women I know, I doubt if more than about 2% do (obviously, it isn't a conversation I have with people as a general rule Wink ).

Don't really think we can present personal anecdotes from a really small sample, as data.

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 29/04/2020 21:44

I’m sure that is not the case twozero Grin

My eyes are muddy (they don’t even photograph as sparkling brown) and my eyebrows look like two sleepy slugs. No arch. Nowt. Just slugs that have been out on the lash. Smile

Rejoice in your peepers flower. They are lovely and I am properly jealous!

DollysDrawers · 29/04/2020 21:49

I pluck the odd stray hair but that's it. They're just growing back now after chemo so I'm grateful to see any hairs there at all!

peonypower · 29/04/2020 21:59

Never plucked and I'm v glad about that
I'm 47

frazzledasarock · 29/04/2020 22:00

Growing up everyone plucked their eyebrows I was the only hairy weirdo who didn’t.

I was put off by the fact a lot of the girls wore permanently surprised expressions due to the way their eyebrows were plucked.

I’ve already wax and thread a whole load of areas. I don’t need to add eyebrows to the list.

Devlesko · 29/04/2020 22:45

I always make an effort for a special ocassion, but otherwise i leave them mainly. Occasionally pluck or trim, as they grow so long.
