...with hot soapy water after every single wee INCLUDING night wees?

I don’t. DH thinks ‘everyone’ does. But he’s lived with me for the last 11 years so I’m not sure how he knows about ‘everyone’.

OP posts:
UhKevin · 28/04/2020 09:57

beautifulmonument · 28/04/2020 09:59

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 28/04/2020 09:59

Yes.

NoMorePoliticsPlease · 28/04/2020 09:59

Yes but not night wees but I very rarely get out. We have a no flush rule so as to not disturb each other. I wash as soon as I get up

CaptainMyCaptain · 28/04/2020 09:59

Yes.

CanICelebrate · 28/04/2020 10:00

Yes!

Chillipeanuts · 28/04/2020 10:01

Yes.
Don’t understand why anybody wouldn’t.

HasaDigaEebowai · 28/04/2020 10:01

Our hot water upstairs is attached to the shower pump and so its noisy. So no, not in the middle of the night.

Honeybee85 · 28/04/2020 10:01

Yes ofcourse.
You touch the button to flush the toilet, lots of poo bacterias on it I imagine (and yes, I regulary clean that button). For that reason alone I already wash hands!

HasaDigaEebowai · 28/04/2020 10:06

We don't flush wees in the middle of the night either

IGottaGetOuttaThisPlace · 28/04/2020 10:06

Nope

OnlyJudyCanJudgeMe · 28/04/2020 10:08

If course

OnlyJudyCanJudgeMe · 28/04/2020 10:08

Of

jomaIone · 28/04/2020 10:09

I wash my hands in cold water with soap at night as the hot water makes a noise in toddler DD room and if it wakes her I'll have hell to pay 🤣

Otherwise hot soapy water

wowfudge · 28/04/2020 10:10

Yes - why wouldn't you?

MarylandMayhem · 28/04/2020 10:10

Our hot water upstairs is attached to the shower pump and so its noisy

You don't need hot water to get your hands clean, soap and cold water does fine.

NatashaRomanov · 28/04/2020 10:10

Er yes...
Night-time doesn't magically stop any bacteria transfer!
You will be transferring anything on your hands to your bedding, maybe your face, your partner (if you share a bed). Gross.

SingingSands · 28/04/2020 10:11

Yes, of course!

HasaDigaEebowai · 28/04/2020 10:12

I know. But the OP specifically asked about hot soapy water

Knowivedonewrong · 28/04/2020 10:13

Dirty Bs! Wash your bleeding hands!

theconstantinoplegardener · 28/04/2020 10:13

Yes, definitely! I dont think I'd be able to get back to sleep if I didn't.

MarylandMayhem · 28/04/2020 10:20

So you do wash your hands during the night HasaDigaEebowai?

OchonAgusOchonO · 28/04/2020 10:25

And we wonder why diseases spread......

If you flush, the toilet handle will potentially have traces of e-coli etc. Cytomegalovirus can spread through urine.

lowlandLucky · 28/04/2020 10:25

Yes

CockCarousel · 28/04/2020 10:26

No I don't. I live with 3 animals, so plenty of pissy footprints around the house already anyway.
