For me it is a few things:

A decent kids bike. One made with kid's geometry in mind, not just a mini adults bike.

Marmite. No other yeast extract compares!

Also defo agree about decent knives in the kitchen. Also a massive round le creuset casserole. Use it to make most things

Toddlerteaplease · 23/04/2020 21:18

My cats. They've cost me an absolute fortune. But so worth it!

TreacherousPissFlap · 23/04/2020 21:18

Properly fitted car seat covers. After years of struggling with ones bought in the Aisle of Shite in Lidl / Aldi I bought genuine Land Rover ones.
I'm somewhat sad I have leather seats now and can't use them Hmm

poppym12 · 23/04/2020 21:21

Laser eye surgery. Illy coffee.

Millie2013 · 23/04/2020 21:22

My pony, she cost OH £400, he was drunk and it was somewhat an impulse purchase 🙈🙈
16 years and many thousands of pounds later and she’s still the best £400 I never spent Grin

Thelnebriati · 23/04/2020 21:25

Silicon oven mitts.
Decent headphones.
Branded metal knitting needles.

Theyweretheworstoftimes · 23/04/2020 21:25

Decent Bedding, fluffy towels and great cake is worth every penny

SuperficialSuzie · 23/04/2020 21:28

@dietcoker - I got the most basic Roomba, it doesn't have timers and app control etc but it does the job.

POP7777777 · 23/04/2020 21:28

Professional photos of my children. They were taken three years ago and I look at them every day still. They're perfect.

nearlynermal · 23/04/2020 21:29

@Toddlerteaplease I'm with you on that one. (Overwhelming love, but dear GOD the fluffy little buggers are expensive.)

MotherofPoodles · 23/04/2020 21:29

My little brown dog, my big brown horse and my newly fitted automatic field water trough.

Uygop · 23/04/2020 21:30

My wifi radio. You can listen to radio channels from all over the world. I now listen to France Inter more than to BBC Radio, and it's great for my French. I can pretend that I'm not living in Brexshit Britain.

noideaatallreally · 23/04/2020 21:31

My geocacheing premium subscription.
Firestick - don;t pay for anything else but there is so much on there it's keeping my sanity.
My kindle.
Decent coffee pods for my machine - can only buy them in France and I'm down to my last 10.

sophftm · 23/04/2020 21:31

Any ticket upgrades at festivals that includes showers, decent toilets and a quiet secure campsite.

On the same lines our campervan

My cat found me so was free, but the amount I fork out on his huge appetite and expensive taste is worth every penny to stop him meowing or waking me up at 3am

Our wedding- not the cheapest but totally worth it 💗

Travelling/ trips abroad- always 🌍

Uygop · 23/04/2020 21:32

And my ice cream and yogurt maker. I've made so many different flavours of ice cream, that you can't find in the shops. It's a big hit with visitors. Makes great frozen yogurt too.

lissie123 · 23/04/2020 21:33

Excellent coffee pods
My lovely comfy bed
Very expensive curtains- look at them every day with thinking they were definitely worth every penny

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 23/04/2020 21:35

Perfume
Makeup
Haircuts
Tetley tea bags
Our cat
Shoes and handbags - not fancy designer, but decent leather for both
Fresh flowers - I have a Bloom and Wild subscription and it makes me so happy

Toilenstripes · 23/04/2020 21:35

Good quality shoes
Good neutral handbag
My cat
Highlights and haircut every 6 weeks
A Nile cruise
Good bedding

LangClegsInSpace · 23/04/2020 21:39

A bag of pennies

Shmithecat2 · 23/04/2020 21:40

My cleaner.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/04/2020 21:54

Just remembered my tattoo - it wasn't expensive, but I love it and it makes me happy every time I see it.

PyongyangKipperbang · 23/04/2020 21:57

Doc Martens

MarinaMarinara · 23/04/2020 21:57

Organic tomatoes from our local farm. Only available in season, totally different and worlds away from the watery tasteless supermarket ones. Also proper bakery bread.

A really great properly fitted sports bra. Ditto nursing bras when I was breastfeeding.

My (stupid, extravagant, raspberry pink) Mulberry handbag. It was second hand and an impulse buy but is so lovely and I have never ever regretted it.

Good quality knee high boots in nice leather.

Roominmyhouse · 23/04/2020 21:57

Freya bras
Massages
Good craft beer

morethanmeetstheeye · 23/04/2020 22:16

Miele appliances.
They just last forever and do a damn good job. Plus their warranties are amazing.

Magimix. Agaiin - last forever and work brilliantly.

iPad and MacBook Air - couldn't work without them and they are just SO much better/faster than other things I've had

Apple Pencil. Wish I'd bought one ages ago as I've probably spent the same amount on cheaper shite ones that weren't very good. This thing is incredibly good and makes my online digital marking a breeze

Tweezerman tweezers.

Lakeland cheese knife (that they've stopped doing and I'm pissed off as it's better than any others I've ever had!! 😂😂😂)

Hair wrap towel thing from Lakeland

Ugh slippers (I bloody love mine even though they're SO old)
