To ask wtf to do with tinned sardines?

I bought too much canned sardines in olive oil to prep for the lockdown.

DH dislikes sardines, so I now have to eat them all.

Any recipes or suggestions on how to eat them? On a salad? Can you cook them?

I heard tigers love them
😂😂😂😂

Loving all these ideas!!! I will definitely be trying a lot of the recipes from all of you! I do love fish and seafood in general, and love knowing that I don't have to take up room in the freezer for the sardines during lockdown.

Thank you!!

On wholemeal toast then grilled with a slice of tomato. One of my fave breakfasts.

I've never had tinned sardines! Do they have bones? Do they still have the skin on or the head or tail?

They have bones but they are very soft, no head, you just eat the lot. They are smaller than the ones you get fresh.

You can get sardine fillets with no head and no bones

If it doesn't say fillets it will be whole ones with bones (think the head is gone I usually get fillets) but you can crunch them up they're soft like whitebait. Prob a v good source of calcium and minerals!

You can get them in water or oil I prefer oil. Drain them.
