Anyone watching Grease? C4

I have very mixed feelings over this film but it' decent entertainment. DH has never watched it and is suitably 'wtf is this'.

I saw it three times at the cinema when I was 10. All the grown-up references went completely over my head.

Preferred the songs of grease 2!

Even now if I hear the sentence ‘who’s that guy?’ In my head I go; ‘the man on the cycle, what would they say if they knew it was Michael?’

Is Grease 2 on anything at the moment? I am not sure what we are subscribed to currently.

@heygirlheyboy well every day is a school day! I have watched Friends a million times and I did not know Jennifer Grey played Mindy. I just had to google it and the reason why is obvious...she is completely unrecognisable!

Most of the actors are dead now and I fondly imagine them getting together in a 'malt shop in the sky' for old time's sake

Most of the main cast are still very much alive & kicking. Theres only a couple who've died

I remember reading somewhere that the premise of Grease was that Danny and Sandy were already dead (somehow) and it was all a dream... does anybody know anything about that

That was firmly denied by the film producers

I love Grease 2, it’s soooo bad it’s brilliant! Some of the songs are epic, you definitely need to find it somewhere OP.

Love Grease too but in a less dirty secret kind of way I remember asking my aunty at about 9 what a virgin was after watching it with my cousins, most of it went over my head though and I just loved the songs

I watched Grease repeatedly as a child - I'm talking 3 or 4 years old. I obviously had no idea what was going on but apparently I loved it. I still do, and I didn't realise they cut so much of it when it's on TV until decades later.

This is massively outing but I was so obsessed as a child, I used to make my parents put their leather jackets on at the dinner table

Whatever you do don't google the actor who plays Johnny in Grease 2 as he has aged appallingly.

I.think he looks fine. Hes in his late 60s I certainly wouldnt say hes aged badly
