I am practically dribbling at the thought of some good Japanese food, and there is no way I could hope to fakeaway it at home

Miso soup, velvety tofu, vinegared seaweed salad, sashimi, chicken yakitori, proper green tea and warm sake.....

Honestly? Space to myself!

KerryMucklowe · 18/04/2020 16:26

Spicy food.

I'm also craving salty/garlic flavour stuff - I've just made some cabbage with bacon just to get that salty taste .

Sitting in a coffee shop, by myself, drinking a hot chocolate that I haven't made in a cup I don't have to wash up.

BestestBrownies · 18/04/2020 16:31

@KerryMucklowe I saw a recipe somewhere for garlicky prawns/seafood with courgetti spaghetti that looked simple to make and delicious

happypotamus · 18/04/2020 16:31

Peace and quiet and time on my own, being able to listen to loud angry music

TwoZeroTwoZero · 18/04/2020 16:31

Oh and getting paid a decent wage and being a little bit less skint than we are at the moment.

happytoday73 · 18/04/2020 16:33

Exploring, socialising, adult company....

We got take out for the first time yesterday.. From a restaurant we enjoy. It lifted my mood... As gorgeous, different and meant I didn't have to cook

Timeforatincture · 18/04/2020 16:33

Apart from the obvious seeing friends, family etc......getting my eyebrows threaded. I look like Dennis Healey.

BearSoFair · 18/04/2020 16:40

Gigs. Usually only go to around 5 a year but this was due to be a big year, I had 8 booked just up to June! Made it to one, two postponed, four cancelled, and one I'm just waiting for the announcement, I know it's not happening!

And a McDonalds double cheeseburger. I've been craving one for weeks now, I'm sure it's just because I know I can't have it!

buckeejit · 18/04/2020 16:41

Just garden centres, not really anything else Confused

buckeejit · 18/04/2020 16:42

Yes actually and festivals too!

handslikecowstits · 18/04/2020 16:42

I have spikes of longing at the moment. Last night it was for fish and chips, a week ago it was for a fried egg (!) as we couldn't get any. This morning I just wanted to go to the nursery and buy plants. I contented myself with sowing some seeds, looking at pictures of plants online and reading my plant encyclopedia. I've not bought any online plants because I really need any. I'm just craving wandering around the nursery.

handslikecowstits · 18/04/2020 16:43

*don't really need any.

Number3or4 · 18/04/2020 16:44

Taking dc swimming.

MrsT1405 · 18/04/2020 16:45

Just going for a walk. Weve been in total lockdown, in Spain, since 13th March. I've only been out twice to the supermarket. I want to go for a coffee with my friends as well.

iklboo · 18/04/2020 16:46

Chips & gravy from my favourite chippy
Good sushi (not the supermarket ones)
Walking into town for lunch or a few drinks, especially in the nice weather
The posh mushrooms on toast from the cafe up the road
Going to our friends or them coming to us for food, drinks and lots of chat

ALemonyPea · 18/04/2020 16:46

Being able to leave the house and go to the shops to pick up my own shopping.

nowaitaminute · 18/04/2020 16:46

Nothing really...but we are lucky to have a Japanese restaurant that does take away in our town!! If I couldn't order that I would miss it too OP!

skybluee · 18/04/2020 16:51
  • Going to my local small supermarket and actually being able to take my time/browse and buy a full shop with what I want, instead of going in wearing a mask and rushing like fuck to get around there and out as fast as possible and not really doing a proper shop. I am not really meant to be out there (due to personal level of risk) but needs must and certainly not in as bad of a position as some people. But I guess it's that each time I leave my flat I have this horrible anxiety and don't want anyone coming near me and people in the town here are not very considerate - so I end up crossing the road repeatedly. I'd love to do a full proper shop and have everything I need.
  • I miss going out for a meal, I haven't been out for a meal since... I can't actually remember, it may have been January.
  • I miss browsing around shops like Poundland for little trinkets.
  • I miss seeing my mum.
BestestBrownies · 18/04/2020 16:53

@nowaitaminute I am soooo jealous of your Japanese takeaway!! We usually only have it as a treat on a rare trip into London.
