Having the TV news (and TV in general!) on more at the moment - more TV ads than ever annoy! What are your current hates?

For me - annoying chocolate biscuit advert ()

British gas advert - particularity annoys me why they are washing their knickers in the sink? (okay maybe they don't have a washer, but they have a niceish bathroom and can afford a BG repair Grin)

The Tampax ad isn’t even on after the watershed.

I noticed it was on at around 7/7:30 on Sunday evening.

It’s awful!

Gala Bingo, the one with the woman playing the guitar......

I though all the big betting company's had agreed to not show adds, but Gala evidently chose not to

All the Nationwide ones, and in fact all of the puke inducing ones centred around the lockdown.

Also, not annoying, but that Arthritis UK advert and the poor bloke reminiscing about his past sex life - why in a grotty looking caravan? I ask myself this question every time it's on!

The Nationwide adverts have DP and I diving for the remote to mute the TV.

A load of PC crap

Can't stand any adverts for bladder weakness, tampons, vaginal dryness etc. We don't need it explaining to us thankyou. We can sort it. I can't believe they show someone with the string hanging down from the tampon?? Give us a bit of dignity.

I thought of another - the darkmilk advert with Kim Wilde. Everything about it.. her mumbling, her stupid way she looks at the camera, the way she says something like 'don't remember? Well go play on your snapchat or something' or whatever she says. I'm too old for Snapchat but oh my god do fuck off 😡

What has me shouting at the TV is not one particular ad but the fact that there are now endless ads all about warm fuzzy lockdown lifestyle shit. Please, when I watch TV I want to forget about the fucking lockdown, not be reminded by every single bloody ad trying to prove how up to the minute they are, with feel-good lovely-families-together - eurgh!
