Most annoying TV adverts (lockdown special)

Having the TV news (and TV in general!) on more at the moment - more TV ads than ever annoy! What are your current hates?

For me - annoying chocolate biscuit advert ()

British gas advert - particularity annoys me why they are washing their knickers in the sink? (okay maybe they don't have a washer, but they have a niceish bathroom and can afford a BG repair )

Perf with serf is awful. I also hate the advert with the brother and sister where he buys his mum some flowers and she gets her a tablet so they can keep in touch virtually. Can't remember what it's called now but I find the sisters smugness so incredibly annoying.

Perf with Serf. No. She’s dreadful. The British Gas washing knickers one I just don’t understand, it just seems very grubby. The Aldi one is a bit ill timed, she’d be lucky to find that stuff to turn her nose up at!!

Just remembered it's the advert for the Facebook portal.

Really hate the postcode lottery one, have to quickly switch over then forget to switch back again.

Nationwide- couple discussing their future wedding. Have to turn it off.

Another Nationwide one with the woman talking to her future self. It annoys the fuck out of me.

Just seen the Nationwide one with the pregnant woman... terrible!

I hate the co op ones pretending to talk to eachother on Skype or similar. The same man every time goes 'can you hear me?' Yes of course they fucking can, its pre recorded.

I cannot abide the VodaPhone adverts , her voice is like nails down a blackboard. On the car radio, I have the volume down before the first "Ah ah ah ah ah Ah ah"

Yes the Tampax one - I can't wear them, they hurt and are completely and totally uncomfortable. Having a "funny" ad is not going to make me buy your product. I guess I am kind of your target audience, but it totally fails.

The picture quality is awful, the sound is awful and the people can barely string two coherent words together.

I really like the new (socially-distanced) British Gas ad. And the Barclaycard fraud one with the gorillas. Aaand I've totally missed the point of the thread.

What about the Tunnocks Tea Cake one with the shopkeeper saying to the kid “what’s the magic word?”. Neither of them can act AT ALL.

@ellzebellze, just coming on to say the Microsoft Teams one. I have no idea why it irritates me so much, so I'm glad it's not just me.

I liked the Barclaycard one the first time; after 6 repetitions in one evenning it gets a little wearing.

There was one from the WHO showing people isolating at home with their families watching TV and surfing the internet, and the voice over and music tried to compare such heroic efforts to those who fought in wars. Yes i know everything is a bit shit at the moment but we're hardly sitting in a muddy trench under cannon bombardment

It makes my toes curl because companies should have been doing whatever they are bragging about before anyway. But also I'm watching tv to forget about what's happening so stop reminding me constantly!

At least the oral b advert seems to have been dropped. No the annoying woman is still there. The 'dentist' is still as dim witted as ever.
