Most annoying TV adverts (lockdown special)

Having the TV news (and TV in general!) on more at the moment - more TV ads than ever annoy! What are your current hates?

For me - annoying chocolate biscuit advert ()

British gas advert - particularity annoys me why they are washing their knickers in the sink? (okay maybe they don't have a washer, but they have a niceish bathroom and can afford a BG repair )

That one with the blackcurrant artist/farmer bloke and the woman who says they need to get them to the pres- sserrrrr. I hate the way she says pres- sserrrrr.

Any insurance advert.

Any perfume advert. They look like they cost an absolute fortune to make and are utterly shite.

Yeah, the Tampax Pearl - "Just Shove it up there" ad. Patronizing and just awful.

Erm, I like the e-bay 94 seconds advert. I think it's funny and clever.

There is an Always pretty wee pants about feeling pretty. It is truly the worst ever. Far, far worse than Mouth Bums TEEEETH and it even makes Bigger boobs, blessed, look reasonable.

Heather watson on being soft and strong. No, I don't think people think that because you are a woman you must like soft, fluffy things. She must have been desperate for the money.

Is it Watson? The tennis player woman. I just feel sorry for the actors in the pants and beardy bloke getting his chocs away advert. They must get some funny looks in the socially distancing supermarket queue.

oh i hate the older ladies who need tena and have sex advert, its just distrubing. put it on during something like SAY YES TO THE DRESS. not something that male and females may watch together.

What’s grating me with adverts at present is that women are portrayed as leaking,
Tampax advert, another op mentioned about, “ can you feel your tampon”.
Then the Tena lady pants that go under jeans.
Every bloody advert is for alledgely a woman’s problems..... we re also lots of other things aside from leaking wrecks in menopause Grrrrrrr.

Why don’t they do a thank you to a key worker per advert like “ thank you to Bob in Aldi and a picture

Have you noticed in adverts it’s only women who suffer from constipation, bleeding gums and diarrhoea?

This one irritates me beyond belief, the way she whispers “for women over 40” as if it’s something to be ashamed of gives me the rage.

Gohackyourself to be fair, there is that one over 40 male in the Viagra ad who's jigging about in his sleep shorts because he's just successfully had a shag. I'm sure they would have used an older woman if it had been even remotely possible though.

I'm currently hating the governments lockdown ad. I know it's important but I'm sick of it popping up in the middle of my crappy distraction tv viewings and reminding me that everything has gone to shit.

It's not a TV advert but the recurring Grammarly ads on YouTube have got me to the stage that I want to smear all those concerned in honey and stake them out on an ant hill.

Also the annoying mircale gro ad which uses the same music as the shit freemans ad.

After watching endless episodes of come dine with me throughout all of this, it’s got to be that fucking ‘It’s called Galbani” advert that comes on before it. Dreadful

Oh my god, the SHOVE IT UP THERE GIRLS ad is the fucking WORST!
I watched it sat there with my teenage son ..I was going..did that really just happen..? Was that a real advert?!
How horribly rude and undignified! It's like, women's bodies are just ridiculous and we don't even know what to make of them ourselves, ooh how funny!
Whoever made that as should probs retire from advertising because they are clueless.
