I have a roast on the go and the DCs are playing a card game in the living room. The baby is playing quietly on the play mat for once. All is calm. What’s going on in your house?

Got dressed by midday, baked a cake, started a jigsaw puzzle, had a roast dinner. Dh and ds2 on ps whatever,ds1 asleep on the sofa ( didn't emerge untik 1pm. Dc1 asleep on his beanbag,dc2 spark out under the garden table,dc3 observing from the shed room having woke up from a marathon snooze. Dc4 have finally stopped hassling me for dreamies and is asleep beside dc1. I am having a glass of wine in the garden listening to the birds lovely

Just me & Ddog here, both on the sofa, I’m on Mnet and she’s watching some dogs on Countryfile!🙄
Going to have a walk together in a bit, then the roast beef and trimmings with a bottle of cider and a Twirl Easter egg i got on Friday. Been a pleasant day, all washing done and dried outside, little nap this afternoon and a general pottering around.
Still find the silence ( no everyday traffic noises) quite odd, It makes me nod off in the afternoons!😄
Going to watch Death in Paradise box set later on, it’s our lockdown evening habit... accompanied by a bit of chocolate😉

DH is in the kitchen playing backgammon on facetime with his pal, DD is upstairs doing a quiz on Houseparty with uni friends. I'm chilling with a G&T watching a programme about hot air balloons. It's quite relaxing! Might have some chocolate soon.

DS is upstairs on the Xbox, DD in the kitchen on the iPad, we have just had a massive roast and Eton mess made by DH who is pottering about in the kitchen. I'm lying on the SOFA after stacking the dishwasher while the dog mithers me to throw his ball. Cat upstairs, assume asleep.

DH and DS are out for a walk. DD and I are watching TV and relaxing. Just watched the news which was pretty horrible. Having a cuppa, will make sandwiches in a bit as we had a huge roast lunch.

Not sure why sofa is in capitals!

I'm currently laying on the sofa, dd1 is walking the dog, dd2 is washing up, exdp is putting the youngest to bed then when she's down he'll put the other one to bed. He cooked the roast today which was nice as it's usually me doing it.

We've just had a roast chicken dinner and are watching Countryfile prior to settling down for the Good Karma Hospital followed by the Nest.

Just had a roast which I seem to have spent all afternoon cooking! Now lying on the bed stuffed while DH clears up in the kitchen. DD1 is playing Roblox with her cousin and DD2 is watching TV. We were going to rent the new Trolls but it's got a bit late now so we'll do that tomorrow.

Hopefully DH will bring up a cup of tea soon and I'll find something to watch and nibble chocolate till I fall asleep!

DH has had an epic pie making session - hours! Can’t wait to eat it ( Hairy Bikers steak & mushroom). DD in her room on her phone. Just talking to DH about having more of a schedule for screens. She’s not having any exercise at all really. I’m happy as I managed to find some mini eggs ( Cadbury’s). Bought Aldi ones & they were nowhere near as nice.

Just put Dd to bed, she’s shattered after egg hunting in the garden and FaceTiming everyone. I’ve got gin in the freezer chilling for a martini in the garden, and I’m going to read Dawn O’Porter’s book. Polenta and tomatoes for dinner later on.

Just had chicken and pasta for our tea. DH is in lounge watching 'Spooks' movie, and I'm sitting in the garden with a glass of wine. It's very peaceful.

I am cooking a full roast in the kitchen.

Cooking Bolognese and listening to I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue rerun in R4. DD in bath, cat pootling around deciding where to snooze.

We’ve been busy all day- our garden is looking fantastic. We’ve just had tagine and cous cous and now I’m sitting listening to 80s music and thinking about my mum (we lost her in 2018), because the 80s were when I last lived at home, as a teenager. DH is watching something on his laptop in the kitchen with one dog (the other is cuddled up with me. DS is online with his friends, doing a quiz one of them has organised.

Everyone is happy here.

Ds1 is upstairs facetiming with his friend and playing fortnite, ds2 is 'gardening' he's basically digging holes in the dirt with a plastic trowel and my gardening gloves. DP is playing computer game after a stressful shift at work and I'm making a cheesecake and lounging watching lord of the rings 😀

This afternoon we played badminton in the garden and have just had a party tea for ds's bday - he's 13 today. Lockdown birthday! It has been a lovely family day.

Thank you for this thread. I really enjoy these little snapshots of people's lives.

I'm waiting for our very last ewe to lamb. She's got L for 'Late' sprayed on her back.

We’ve been in the garden all day, chilling with books and playing badminton. Had a BBQ around 4.30. Now DD is in her room talking to friends on Houseparty, DS is playing with friends on Fortnite, DH and I have just come in from the garden and are flopped on the sofa, he’s watching tv and I’m on here. DH is stroking my legs while I lounge. All is well. 😊

All sounds so lovely. It seems this lockdown possibly makes up appreciate the normal family times. Just try not to watch the news too often.

Right now the baby is actually sleeping in the living room. DH has taken over looking after the twins tonight so I am currently sitting in my bedroom with a bottle of nice wine, a magazine and relaxing with Netflix in the background. They are in the living room playing with their toys. My bedroom door is closed. But I will go to check on the kids in a bit. We all ate carrot and onion soup for dinner tonight with leftover chicken and bread. We skipped lunch today so dinner was hearty.

We came back from a 2 hour walk to find a roast and a salmon ready for us, courtesy of ds, So appreciated. Just stuffed now

We had shepherds pie which dds liked and now dp is reading their bedtime story and I’m watching reruns of bake off! Dp is a little grumpy because he’s dieting but everyone had a nice day otherwise
