I have a roast on the go and the DCs are playing a card game in the living room. The baby is playing quietly on the play mat for once. All is calm. What’s going on in your house?

I'm putting the washing away with a glass of prosecco. Dh is cooking toad in the hole and rhubarb crumble while listening to a playlist of cheesy 70s and 80s tv theme tunes (also witha glass of prosecco). Dd is playing bass guitar. Ds is reading Harry Potter I think - he's gone very quiet! Ddog and dcat are napping.

Glass of prosecco in hand (25th birthday tomorrow!), 5mo DD napping on my chest, dog asleep under leg rest & DH doing the dishes. Once DD wakes it will be feed, play, bath & bed. Relaxing 😌

Eating toast while 'D'H sulks. He told me he had got the beef out of the freezer last night. He hadn't but he managed to remember to get wine for himself

We are watching Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory while the tea of potato waffles, chicken nuggets, peas and sweetcorn cooks. Toddler DS2 is pottering around moving random items around the house because he can't really sit and watch a film. I've just put a bottle of wine in the fridge for later.

We are watching the new Trolls film. Is atrocious, utterly appalling, worse than the first one. But all three children (aged 5 - 10) have sat and watched it.

Had a lovely long family walk round countryside then late lunch / dinner on the BBQ with Prosecco....Egg hunt was early this morning for DCs. I have just had a bath & eaten a huge bar of choc 😳... exhausted now 🐰🐰🐰💐💐💐🐣🐣🐣

We've eaten dinner and are all sat in separate rooms. Adult Dd is in a strop about being stuck here (she moved back here for lockdown as she didn't want to be alone) and the novelty of being back home with us has now worn off! Happy Easter to us (haven't even got any bloody eggs)

DH cleaning up after dinner - hairy bikers creamy chicken korma, with added butternut Squash and spinach.

Boys both in their rooms. Expecting DS1 to appear looking for food of his own, any moment (he eats separately from the rest of us)

DP on the phone to his grandma. I'm upstairs feeling angry. We just had a fight as he spent the afternoon with a friend when clearly he shouldn't be doing that.

Lamb dinner just about to be ready (it’s ok to have Yorkshires with lamb, right?). I’ve lit the candles and we have a glass of wine each. Family FaceTime quiz later. I have been good and been out for a run, but I have also eaten half an Easter egg, and there’s some chocolate cake left for later... will probably round off the evening with an episode of something - possibly the current favourite Friday Night Dinner.

I am usually the only person to leave my house on a given day, and wish it was a household allowance of outings. Then I could have DH exercise outing too.

We are in a tourist area with twitchy neighbors and I know they count 😀

Kids are getting int the bath ready for me to dry and dress them. Mayhem. Every day.

I'm sitting on dc3 bedroom floor while he hopefully falls asleep.
Dc1 and 2 are in the living room on tablets. Dh is pouring me wine and putting creme egg cheesecake on plates.. Probably actually drinking whisky and listening to music instead.

We had a roast earlier in the garden, spent all day out there after the Easter egg hunt, it's been lovely and warm. Storm brewing now and it's gone chilly and cloudy. We will watch the rest of Thor when baby is finally asleep. We are slowly working through the marvel movies with the older DC now they are old enough to see them.

I've just finished my peppermint tea, am drooping by the computer, and am wondering when it's not too early to go to bed. So tired.
Who knows what the cat is doing.

Dh watching some film with the kids while i attempt to make a dinner that all 5 of us like from rations. Someone will be in tears!

I live alone and I'm sitting having a nice coffee in crumpled unironed clothes thinking I shouldn't have cut my own hair today.
I'll cover all the mirrors tomorrow.

Just finished eating a roast and now watching Friday night Dinner.

I'm putting my toddler to bed. I've done an enormous amount of walking and gardening and I'm extremely achey!
I should expect that when my husband brings our eldest up he'll have to come and wake me up!

Ds7 is watching Ratatouille whilst writhing around on the floor. Dh is cooking his dinner (me and ds have eaten - dh is out of sync due to insomnia and health issues) and I am slumped on the sofa covered in (2) cats after being awake since 3.30.

Youngest is in her bedroom eating chocolate and messing around on her PlayStation.

I’m currently cutting up a snickers bar, for the rat traps, because I’ve heard scampering in the kitchen dealing for the last two nights! Bastards didn’t listen to the rules regarding visiting other homes! 😭

DH is in the garden pottering about. Ds is in the bath, DD is sat on my bed tapping away on her phone (probably to the boyfriend she thinks we don't know about!) and I'm sat on my bed watching come dine with me (its cooler in here as i have the ceiling fan on)
