Please make me feel better.
I should be painting the utility room but so far have acheived nada - super tired after 12 hour shift yesterday and have shamefully abandoned home schooling schedule so DCs are just watching dreadful Netflix shows. So far I've had 4 coffees and filled my basket at Benuto with rugs I can't afford!
Either join me in my stupor or give me a kick up the ass!

I'm sunbathing!

HappyHammy · 10/04/2020 13:16

Sitting in the garden on mn doing jackshit.

HoffiCoffi13 · 10/04/2020 13:18

Toddler and DH are napping, 6 and 4 year olds are watching some drivel on TV and I’m sitting on a sun lounger reading Mumsnet.

Lefkosia · 10/04/2020 13:18

I'm sitting in the garden with a drink and a book. House is a mess but I don't have children to look after so I figure it can wait till it rains or my fiance does it

JMAngel1 · 10/04/2020 13:26

I have found my people Grin

I’m watching Ratatouille on Disney+ while doing my nails. DH has been doing overtime this morning from home and has now joined the queue at Lidl. Would it be bad to have a glass of fizz while lazing? I have opened some chocolate already

fairyfingers · 10/04/2020 13:31

Woke up at 9. Stayed in bed with dh till 11 with the kids watching Harry Potter down stairs. Made brunch. Sat in garden.

Made bread (in the mixer so all I did was weigh things). Sat in garden.

Took an antihistamine which was on a high shelf so some effort there.

DH took kids for daily exercise on bikes.

Sat in garden

PokemonWanker · 10/04/2020 13:33

Are we meant to be doing stuff?

Katinski · 10/04/2020 13:33

Old news isn't just Good News - it's BRILLIANT News! I've just been browsing John Finnemore's 2014 browsing the Sunday papersGrin

ClientQ · 10/04/2020 13:34

I've made two cups of tea. Oh and some toast. In my defence I'm waiting for a delivery "between 9 and 4" and I can guarantee if I get in the bath. It will arrive

EL8888 · 10/04/2020 13:35

Sorry can’t help! All l have achieved so far today was cooking brunch and the folding of half a dozen items of washing. I’m slumped on the sofa watching trash TV. Fiancé asleep and all the cats are asleep

VideographybyLouBloom · 10/04/2020 13:36

I’m watching Mrs Doubtfire on Disney+ with DDs. They’re dressed but I’m still in my dressing gown. DH has going for a quick walk.
I might get dressed after I’ve watched Three Men and a Little Lady

Christmastreedown · 10/04/2020 13:36

Me and dh wfh fulltime, done very little home schooling for our 3 kids and we all in the garden chilling...

MozzchopsThirty · 10/04/2020 13:37

I've only just got up
Sitting in the garden
Doing fuck all today

fatisnotafeeling · 10/04/2020 13:39

38 weeks pregnant, had a sweep yesterday and losing my plug today.

DH is asleep on the sofa, DC are on their tablets/phones which they've spent fair too much time on but you know ! I am about to sit in the garden form half an hr and hope maybe labour starts.

TW2013 · 10/04/2020 13:41

It's a bank holiday, if you can't chill out now when can you?

MissCalamity · 10/04/2020 13:41

Sat in the garden with the paddling pool out that DD was whinging she wanted out & has been in it for all of 5 mins.

I'm reading my last book I got out from the library, but want to savour it as I will have no more to read after that.

Wondering if it's too early to crack the alcohol open,I'm quite down on supplies so won't get anymore until i'm back in work on Tuesday (wholesalers)

TwoZeroTwoZero · 10/04/2020 13:47

I'm in the garden doing nothing. I did the same yesterday and the day before. I'll probably do the same tomorrow.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 10/04/2020 13:47

I didn't get out of bed until half twelve because it was too warm and snuggly. I plan to do as little as possible today.

TSSDNCOP · 10/04/2020 13:49

It is surely essential to do nothing at all for the good of mankind!

So here I sit on a deckchair, factor 20 on listening to the radio (quietly), considering a bbq (non-smokily) and snickering (like Mutley) to Bill Bryson.

Peridot1 · 10/04/2020 13:52

I’m chilling today. Waiting for the sun to hit our patio and then going out there with a book.

I might vacuum while waiting but otherwise all I’ve done today is empty the dishwasher, wash a load of towels and sort some of my summer clothes out and out some winter jumpers away. I should clean the bathrooms but can’t be bothered.

Calmdowndeary · 10/04/2020 13:54

I’m in the garden wasting my life away on Mumsnet. Bliss

TSSDNCOP · 10/04/2020 13:56

@Peridot1 I did vacuum, but thankfully the charge expired (I had it on max suck). I took that as a sign. To the garden!

lissie123 · 10/04/2020 13:56

So far I have
Had some breakfast
Drank several cups of tea
Eaten some lunch
Listened to an audio book whilst doing 30 mins indoor cycling
Laid on outdoor sofa thingy reading MN
Can’t be arsed to do anything else
Teen kids and DH chilling too

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 10/04/2020 13:58

Doing nothing. Sitting with DH and have fallen down a homes under the hammer rabbit hole. Patio doors open and lovely breeze. Have abandoned 3DCs who are watching Disney plus. Must check on the 4 year old although the 6 and 7 year olds are pretty good at telling on her if she steps out of line 😁
