Please make me feel better.
I should be painting the utility room but so far have acheived nada - super tired after 12 hour shift yesterday and have shamefully abandoned home schooling schedule so DCs are just watching dreadful Netflix shows. So far I've had 4 coffees and filled my basket at Benuto with rugs I can't afford!
Either join me in my stupor or give me a kick up the ass!

Oh but I Quickly mop the kitchen floor after muddy dogs walked all over it post their walk.

PsychoWiener · 10/04/2020 13:59

I had to go do the food shop this morning😳but apart from that, we have done nothing. Toddler is asleep, fiancé is watching tv and I'm flitting between MN, Instagram and twitter.

PsychoWiener · 10/04/2020 14:00

Also, I know schools are closed but it is technically Easter holidays now right? Don't worry about homeschooling, have a break!!

Paintforkitchen · 10/04/2020 14:04

It’s a bank holiday, treat it as such. I didn’t get dressed until midday and we’re just pottering in the garden.

Bluewavescrashing · 10/04/2020 14:04

Yes. I lost my dear nan who passed away last night. I'm staying in bed most of the day and allowing myself time to remember her in peace.

DH is off work today and he's entertaining (refereeing) the DCs and also made pancakes for breakfast. He's cooking a casserole for dinner now. I'm very grateful to be left alone for once.

troppibambini · 10/04/2020 14:05

I'm on the sofa watching Harry Potter enjoying the fact that the kids are all either playing nicely or entertaining themselves on a screen
I was debating washing the car....
But no.

Egghead68 · 10/04/2020 14:06

Yes. Walked a mile in my kitchen and it has wiped me out (I have COVID). Been on the sofa since doing nothing.

Egghead68 · 10/04/2020 14:07

Flowers @Bluewavescrashing

freddiethegreat · 10/04/2020 14:07

My teenager woke up about 1pm ... still hasn’t been seen in the land of the living ...

LER83 · 10/04/2020 14:10

I've done sod all so far! Kids have been happily playing so leaving them to it. Been sitting in the garden enjoying the sun! All I plan to do today is change my bedding and cook a roast later. Had a long list of things wanted to do as dh is off for 4 days, but can't be bothered!

TSSDNCOP · 10/04/2020 14:11

@Egghead68 get well soon Thanks

Wannabangbang · 10/04/2020 14:14

Yes sitting in my duvet in my summerhouse watching the birds sing and watching some trash tv as the kids are actually being good doing their own thing. Bliss Grin

PleasantVille · 10/04/2020 14:14

Where are you that schools are open on bank holidays?

No one's doing school work today are they? It's the Easter holidays for most of the world I thought.

We're in extreme times, do what you need to get by.

Wannabangbang · 10/04/2020 14:15

Bluewavescrashing sending my heartfelt condolences FlowersFlowers

LaneBoy · 10/04/2020 14:15

Unintentionally yes. Did some decluttering yesterday but wore myself out!

Verily1 · 10/04/2020 14:16

Geez just relax.

Get into the spirit of lockdown and stay in your jammies, eat junk and watch tv for a couple—few— days.

KatnissMellark · 10/04/2020 14:17

DH and toddler let me lie in
Half an hour crafts
Play in the garden
Picnic lunch
Now sunbathing like a beached whale (8 months pg)
Just offered to get DH a drink (he's fixing the decking) and he told me not to be silly and fetched one for me Grin

Lazy enough for you?

Egghead68 · 10/04/2020 14:21

Thanks @TSSDNCOP. Apparently if you don’t get better after the first week it’s a very long haul (day 21 for me so far).

NatashaAlianovaRomanova · 10/04/2020 14:21

Plan for the day - change bedding & clean flat

What has happened so far - cosied up in aforementioned bedding watching episodes of The 100 eating ham & egg bagels drinking Diet Coke

It's a lazy sort of day Grin

Dollywilde · 10/04/2020 14:22

Stayed in bed until 10 which is unheard of for us. Had brunch, DH went to the supermarket and I put a wash on. Now just chilling in the garden. I stayed away from the sun in 2018 due to getting married that summer, and 2019 was a washout so I’ve decided 2020 will be the year I attempt to get a tan (plus I’m pregnant and my logic is that Vit D is good for the baby Smile )

MsTSwift · 10/04/2020 14:24

Why are you homeschooling anyway on a sunny bank holiday?! That’s pretty mean don’t do that

Bigsighall · 10/04/2020 14:25

I’m sunbathing with my feet up on the (also sunbathing) dog. Gotta make the most of it!

sunshineandshowers21 · 10/04/2020 14:27

i’ve come back to bed and left my boyfriend in the garden with the kids and the dogs. fully exhausted thanks to being 34 weeks pregnant and barely sleeping for the past few nights. i intend to sleep until teatime, eat my fish and mash, and then go back to bed!

Anoisagusaris · 10/04/2020 14:27

Sitting outside all day. Getting fresh is being productive IMO!

Peridot1 · 10/04/2020 14:29

I’m sorry for your loss @Bluewavescrashing.

Vacuuming done. Dishwasher about to go on again. Then that is me done.

The garden and my book await.
