It looks like a cute name. 😇

I just think of Ross of friends. I don't like it.

overnightangel · 09/04/2020 18:57

Is it a good name? Depends if you hate your kid I suppose

Thrashscar · 09/04/2020 18:57

Some people will come on here and tell you that nicknames should appear organically but I love Dilly for short! Congratulations Flowers

I would totally go for it, but with a silent "m"

Nope every time I see it I just can't help but think of this dime advert!

MangosteenSoda · 09/04/2020 19:03

Awesome name! But only with the Spanish pronunciation ArmadiYo.

Otherwise it just sounds lame.

Doggodogington · 09/04/2020 19:04

@SoccerMomLauren is this a joke? I told you that name in private, and now you go and steal it!!! Ffs it goes perfectly with my DTwins names Antelope and Arangutang!!

Shopkinsdoll · 09/04/2020 19:05

It’s bloody and I mean bloody awful!!

Shockers · 09/04/2020 19:08

If he’s quite small, I’d probably change it to Woodlouse; he’d look daft as an armadillo.

Woody or lousy for nn.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 09/04/2020 19:09

Toucan is a very strong name and suitable for all ages... Armadillo is possibly a bit too cute?

Twattergy · 09/04/2020 19:15

Truly awful

This has to be a joke right? Armadillo in Scotland currently being transf8into a "hospital". Bad connotations.

Ugzbugz · 09/04/2020 19:40

Hideous

caramac04 · 09/04/2020 19:42

It’s awful. Please don’t inflict this on your innocent child.

Calledyoulastnightfromglasgow · 09/04/2020 19:43

It’s lovely. Especially for a sibling called anteater

Lweji · 09/04/2020 19:49

That name makes me want to to curl up in a ball. Sorry, OP.

Hippee · 09/04/2020 20:28

Loving this article about banned names. Armadillo isn't mentioned, but my favourite is "Denmark also rejected Anus, for obvious reasons". Really? Apparently my first name is banned in Morocco.

Uh....

Is Armadillo a good name for a baby boy?
daisychain01 · 09/04/2020 21:08

Has anyone mentioned Amoeba yet?

bettybattenburg · 09/04/2020 21:15

No, I think you'll find that Amoeba demonstrates great singularity and is really quite unpopular as names go.

Lweji · 09/04/2020 21:47

On that article of banned names, in Portugal there is a list of names that were proposed but rejected. I know two Portuguese people with their name on that list. Shock

Pickles89 · 09/04/2020 21:52

You know what I've been thinking? 'Corona' is quite pretty for a little girl, while 'Covid' has a kind of cool edginess to it that could work well on a boy?

lucindalovescats · 09/04/2020 21:59

Life's hard enough for them at school , don't do it. Sorry.

Enough4me · 09/04/2020 22:03
