MummytoE · 09/04/2020 16:54

No this is ridiculous sorry you will be setting him up for a life of bullying in my opinion

Iamtryingtobenicehere · 09/04/2020 16:55

I don't think the thread has got as high as the standards expected by the Daily Mail.

‘Oh my gahhd, it’s a bleedin’ armadilla!’

No. Just no.

Bottletopsx · 09/04/2020 17:00

Terrible name!

happiness1212121 · 09/04/2020 17:01

I think of the Friends episode with 'the holiday Armadillo'.

Bottletopsx · 09/04/2020 17:01

He will be called Arm a dick ed

Thornhill58 · 09/04/2020 17:02

butterpuffed · 09/04/2020 17:04

How about Tyrannosaurus Rex ? Obviously change Rex to Rexina if it turns out to be a girl

VenusTiger · 09/04/2020 17:05

No. It's a nice name for an animal though.

BumBurnerBum · 09/04/2020 17:06

Does anyone else really fancy a Dime Bar?

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 09/04/2020 17:13

@BumBurnerBum

The Dime Bar

ARMAAADILLLLOOO advert was exactly what came to mind

This has got to be a joke?

Who would do this to a child

Like calling your child Kangaroo

Lynda07 · 09/04/2020 17:16

Pangolin is better.

Giant-Ant-Eater is marvellous!

SecretNutellaFix · 09/04/2020 17:20

Armadillo is a nice name.

For an actual armadillo.

iCorona · 09/04/2020 17:24

Armadillo is a fab name. Really different and unique. I would use the original spelling Armadyllo though otherwise everyone will just think of the animal.

mummmy2017 · 09/04/2020 17:25
We need a singalong
BlueThursday · 09/04/2020 17:29

Not as classic as Balonz I grant you but it does have a nice ring

MikeUniformMike · 09/04/2020 17:30

Wildebeest could be Billy for short.

Armdillo will get nn Amadildo

Wheresthesanitygone · 09/04/2020 17:30

It’s a bit pretentious, I’d go for Turtle

Typhoonmarie · 09/04/2020 17:31

Smooth on the outside
Crunchy on the inside

Zilla1 · 09/04/2020 17:31

It's a better second name, OP, if it follows Holiday....

nicerainyweather · 09/04/2020 17:31

Love it. Dinosaur is better though. If he's a bit chubby, go for Elephant.

underthepatio · 09/04/2020 17:32

Are you on drugs?

WombatChocolate · 09/04/2020 17:33

Yes, go for it. Choose a word that you don't know the meaning of and label your whole family, so that everyone forms an opinion if you all, before ever meeting any of you.

There are lots of others you could choose too, simply because you like the sound of the word.

Isn't it always worth checking what words mean and considering if you want your child to be associated with that word? Just wondering...
