Me - my nespresso latissima coffee machine. Having a nice coffee is really helping me get through the day. Albeit I will need to cut down on the lattes as getting a bit fat(ter). Am so grateful decided to get one in Jan

Also - my two nice big Le creuset pots that I actually got as a wedding present but have been using even more than usual

A slide for DS.

animaginativeusername · 09/04/2020 11:51

Lots of play dough, jigsaws, paints, board games, Disney+ subscription and air fryer

SeasonallySnowyPeasant · 09/04/2020 11:55

Trampoline
Bread maker
Brexit supplies (mainly the flour, yeast, jelly, tinned tomatoes & lentils).
Chromebook for the kids so they can access the online learning their schools have put on for them.

I’m also glad I didn’t clear out the loft like I’ve been meaning to for at least 5 years because it means I still have the tent that fits in my garden. The DC have loved camping outside!

OddshoesOddsocks · 09/04/2020 12:05

I had a panic the week the schools closed (rural, very pregnant and can’t drive) so me and my mum (who likes to be equally organised!) made several trips to the shops to stock up for dds birthday, Easter and general isolation activities.

I was very grateful for her cake last week, the Easter stash this week and the ‘quarantine box’ full of activities forever more!

We also started picking up bits and bobs for baby with each weekly shop a few months ago so have enough nappies and wipes to need not to panic during the first week or so which I’ll be very grateful for!

Mostly though, dd got an iPod touch for her birthday which has been brilliant as it’s meant that she can FaceTime her friends every day. She’s very social and is missing them a lot. That was definitely the Best Buy, even if we didn’t know it at the time!

A mini trampoline!

Kez200 · 09/04/2020 15:20

BasicIntentions · 09/04/2020 15:24

Same as a pp - got the Wii fit out.

ABadlyShavedYeti · 09/04/2020 15:27

A new sofa and a dining room table and chairs (only bought because i was working from home), got them delivered on the Monday that lockdown was announced!

Ineedabreak19 · 09/04/2020 15:31

I ordered our usual order of 60 loo rolls from Groupon at Christmas. Then dh picked up a large pack of 24cloo rolls in January not realising I'd bought 60. I was a bit cross at the time as I had to find storage places for them. I'm so glad we over ordered loo rolls as we're sorted for at least 6 months.

HarrietTheShy · 09/04/2020 15:33

Treadmill.

DinosApple · 09/04/2020 15:55

We got some vouchers last year and decided to blow the lot on a stash of wine... We've got three boxes, red, white and fizz 🍷🥂.

I also bought extra store cupboard stuff for Brexit over the last year which has come in handy.

SpaceCadet4000 · 09/04/2020 18:32

Our house! We moved in on December 30th and have plenty of projects to tackle. Serendipitously, the previous owners also left a stash of DIY stuff in the attic.

QueenofallIsee · 09/04/2020 18:44

Games room with full size pool table. I surprised my husband with it when we moved in (I used to use the dining room to fold laundry in mainly at the old house as we always ate in the kitchen). I rigged at the smaller sitting room out with juke box, pool table, mini bar, dartboard, drums etc. It’s been worth it’s weight in gold for our family on lockdown.

KellyHall · 09/04/2020 18:45

Trampoline for the garden!

QuestionableMouse · 09/04/2020 18:50

A back scratcher. Cost a couple of quid from amazon but it makes my life better. I live alone and my back often itches due to my hair so being able to scratch it is bliss.

Bulk cat food. Cat will only eat one type of dry food and one type of wet so I ordered in bulk before lock down started. Saves me panicking and having to scour the shops.

BigRedBoat · 09/04/2020 19:28

Trampoline for sure.

Greendin · 09/04/2020 19:37

Easter Eggs, got them in February when they were on offer.

Muddlingalongalone · 09/04/2020 21:39

Artificial turf last winter. Was a godsend before I was furloughed to just chuck the kids out while I went on a conference call.

Not a purchase but an inspired decision was booking a bulky rubbish collection in early march for yesterday - I can now get my spare room sorted over the lockdown period- it's been a dumping ground for 18 months!

GuyFawkesDay · 09/04/2020 21:45

Pantry stash of flour, yeast, pasta and tins.
Trampette things for kids

But mostly, that we got the garden landscaped in autumn. It's worth every penny twice over right now!! Kids can play, we can eat out, relax and I am attempting to turn into a mini Monty Don and grow something half decent.

AmelieTaylor · 09/04/2020 22:11

Decent size Fridge/Freezer after making do with an under counter fridge for FAR too long. Both currently in use! 😊

TolstoyAteMyHamster · 09/04/2020 22:26

An exercise ball to sit on at my desk so I don’t get a sore back.
A Sonos sound system so we can have music everywhere.
Some new gym leggings- I’m going to get a shock when I have to put on real clothes again.

TerrorWig · 09/04/2020 22:54

Xbox per child (don't worry, I impose time limits!)

Sims 4 plus all expansions for me Grin

Barbararara · 09/04/2020 23:02

A projector and screen. We bought it a few years ago and have only used it the odd time, but for the last few weeks it’s been great for family movies and made more of an event out of something simple.

We’ve been looking at stuff on google arts and culture too and being able to zoom in on the tiniest details of great works of art has been fascinating.

Smelborp · 09/04/2020 23:03

A ton of chocolate.

namechangenumber2 · 09/04/2020 23:09
