Have you seen any butterflies this spring ?

I had a Peacock butterfly sitting on my outside kitchen windowsill a few minutes ago (please excuse the dirt). Must be the sunshine bringing them out of hibernation😊.

Is mother nature healing ?

Just the effects of a period of mild spring weather, and a winter which wasn't very cold despite the wind and rain, I think.

I saw one red admiral 2 weeks ago, about 10 buff-tailed bumblebees and yesterday saw house martins for the first time this year (Scotland)

Now up to seven species - Speckled Wood today.

Had a jolly blue butterfly in the garden yesterday.

It is meant to be holly not jolly!
